@beep I cringe when I see em dashes without spaces around them. I know someone taught me otherwise. But the em dash deserves to breathe, like the pause it commands.

@stop @beep I see a grouping problem when an em dash is used without spacing. See this ALA article as an example. Yes, the hyphen is not a dash. But I see “above-at” “width-hyphens” & “font-12” in the text. Non-spaced dashes group the two words on either side, rather than split the thought.
