Our daughters just discovered a retro-looking radio with an analog needle and dial that we’ve had for years in our living room. They know about radio from our cars, but they only associate it with driving. They now think that radio music is the coolest thing ever.

@stop Here’s the irony for me: they like it because they don’t have to do anything. They have no control (other than volume). There’s no search for an artist or playlist. There’s no back or skip button. No cover art to confirm. New music just keeps playing, one surprise after another.
