@danrubin Pantone is only relevant for custom-mixed spot-color printing on paper or physical goods, or matching for material production. Sure, that’s still a large market. It’s numerical system might be convenient for digital design, but otherwise, it is wholly unnecessary, no?

@stop @danrubin Pantone values on screen are only approximations of what to expect off screen. I still use them for print work. But I match swatch book colors with my own rgb/cmyk, then rename spots to Pantone values for the printer’s benefit. I rarely ever open the Pantone panel.
