Pin holding the back wheel to my scooter just fell out on way to the train station. Fortunately, I was coming to a stop, so no crash. Scary.

If I walk at a good clip, without running, I get from the office door to the door of a train in 8.5 minutes on average.

@juanrcm Yep, they’re hard. What made it worse today… There were firefighters at mile 10 spraying people with regular water hoses. In hot weather, might have felt great. But I was already soaked with sweat & mist. They got my shoes, which meant my socks were wet for those last 3 miles.😡

Randomly encountered and bought a pair of @OluKai shoes 2 months ago (the Moloa). Without a doubt, most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.
