Although there are many good things in iOS 6, I’m frequently disappointed with the clunky experience of the official App Store app.

@escapist Exactly. Though I think it’s at odds with both store and app. You look in an app for something, not on an app.

@rpmcb I do not equate any app store with the radio or the Internet. A product is available IN or FROM a store, not ON it.

@bhaggs I have app installation turned off for now on our kids’ iPods, so there’s not even a visible App Store icon. No one would ever know there are updates available in that case.
