@tremendo Collapse trends (or Following or Saved Searches) by clicking the arrow to the right of the title.
-
Yay, now everyone should have search, saved searches, and trends in their Twitter sidebars. http://tr.im/k9iK

Re: phishing scam, the email I got sent from a friend’s Facebook acct pointed to fbstarter dot com, not fbaction, so several URLs in play.
-
Facebook phishing scam has already tricked several of my friends & compromised their accounts. Don’t fall for this. http://bit.ly/bmRom

Can’t inhale this coffee fast enough. Where’s the IV when I need it.
-
Why does it feel like I just pulled an all-nighter? Wait, it’s because we did (at the ER) #joysofparenting
-
Definitely something fishy about an email that starts with “Hello, my name is Admin.”
-
Spotted on a bottle of shampoo this morning: “99.08% Natural”. Now that’s honesty to the hundredth degree.
-
@pjhawksr AnEventApart is good and there’s one in SF in Dec. Or if you’re up for jetting to London in a few days, there’s FOWD.
-
After using Safari4 for a few weeks, regarding top tabs: love the theory & rationale, hate the execution.
-
@jasonaklein And? Did you give it a spin? We loved the early BBVD stuff, but their later albums didn’t show any variety.
-
@Zhanna I love Evernote, especially its seemless sync across web, desktop, and mobile clients.
-
First IM sent by my daughter @ 8mos old: “8po0999999999999999999999999999999999loooooooooooooo89iok” She’s catching on quickly.

Hmm. When I wrote “fly on the wall” I meant it as “inconspicuous observer” – may consider going incognito now http://tr.im/jy2x
-
Nice lunch with @dunstan today. Exchanged design challenges and discussed similarities and differences between Flickr & Twitter.
-
@CKinney For WeFollow, looks like the only way to get removed is to violate their Terms – http://tr.im/jroj – or email support@wefollow.com
-
@CKinney There’s no rule about replying. It’s difficult to reply to everyone every time though.

Tal Leming on Web Fonts with reasonable suggestions: http://tr.im/jr8o Note the idea for a new file extension .wtf (via @gruber)

Scratch that. Here’s the bookmarklet for the iPhone: http://tinyurl.com/c9u26u
-
Uh-oh. Maybe it doesn’t work. Sent link to Tweetie, which attempted to shorten it. Seems to be a prob with how it encoded the URL. @atebits?
-
Super cool discovery: this bookmarklet from @atebits http://bit.ly/ufNFv also works with Tweetie for iPhone. Used for this tweet as proof.
-
@octover Ignore the accelerometers. Good one. I’ve wished I could kill those too now and then.
-
@CornerTavern Sounds like a good alternative. It would work for me, and doesn’t seem to be used yet. Anyone on the iPhone team listening in?
-
@deadgraviti I agree. That’s why it’s only sometimes I wish.
-
I sometimes wish for one more physical button on the iPhone. A configurable switch or toggle. I’d set mine to turn wifi on and off.
-
She’d rather be tied up to stakes in the desert & have red ants eat out her eyes than open a Twitter account. http://tr.im/jq8x
-
Congrats to @jonwiley & others who helped launch Google Profiles. Long time coming: http://bit.ly/5Cb8t
-
Welcome @Zhanna to the Twitter design team. I’m excited to have you here and that we get to work together again!

If Spring feels like Summer (hot) what’s Summer going to feel like?

Just found this. @missrogue has a good explanation on why “whuffie” is difficult for big companies to grok – http://bit.ly/xqwCM

Watching results for clients post-release, I note: people are passionate about their Twitter experiences. http://tr.im/jfJd

Taking a taxi back home to deal with an emergency situation. Hit major traffic. Should have taken the train.
-
Stop. TweetieTime! http://www.atebits.com/tweetie-mac/
-
From @aksie, in theory, http://www.itypefastr.com/ looks interesting, but primarily as a trial of human behavior and error prevention.
-
Mental note: on sunny days, must sit on left side of train both ways to see screen sans reflections.
-
Last Fluid mention today. Just in case you didn’t think Fluid was cool enough already, ✔ this Twitter Search Userscript – http://tr.im/j0fp
-
They have no affiliation w/ Twitter other than the API. But yes, I can vouch for @twitshirt. I was a beta tester/wearer: http://bit.ly/tHUAU
-
Ever saw a tweet and thought, “I wish I could get that on a t-shirt”? Now you can do just that: http://twitshirt.com
-
@ded 10.5 has been out for 1.5 years. Why the holdout?
-
In my experience, Fluid apps typically are very low on CPU usage (<5%) depending on the app, and free up your browser tabs for other stuff.
-
Examples of Fluid SSBs: Twitter, Gmail, Gcal, Reader, Hulu, Basecamp, RTM… anything you want in the dock or be able to Cmd-Tab into.
-
Just discovered full-screen mode in Fluid SSBs (Cmnd-Shft-F). If you’re on a Mac, and not using Fluid yet, you should. http://fluidapp.com/
-
@sproutworx Good idea – something that wasn’t useful until the recent addition of mentions instead of replies.
-
Really enjoyed the sounds of @imogenheap that filled the office moments ago.
-
Remember MYST? Coming to the iPhone soon: http://bit.ly/270P4s Here’s a YT preview from AppVee: http://bit.ly/fvjmJ

Ah, I see, it must be Remove Carpet From the Elevator Walls Day. TwitterHQ folks will be getting some exercise this morning.
-
And no, thanks for checking, I’m not in Amsterdam.

Is there a new coffee roast that smells like weed? Smelled it 3 times this week in different cafes.
