For the curious, this is the view of my ride home on a Friday night train. Can you say, Party!? http://yfrog.com/7halrj

Learned today at TeaTime: Idempotence – “multiple applications of the operation do not change the result”
-
@delbius just using those as part of my resistance. Had to fill up 140 somehow.
-
Must resist… the urge… to link to everything @anildash writes… even though he has good arguments… Apple & secrecy… I’m outta room.

Mmm. “Windows Phone”. Just drips off the tongue, doesn’t it? http://bit.ly/cZtH0

Apparently our daughter is not yet sensitive to the fact that mom and dad need more than two hours of sleep each night.
-
Enjoying reactions to our new Twitter front page. Though to be honest, most of the people commenting aren’t the target for this design.
-
@Uberlad But you don’t need to go to another page. The form appears right there on the same page…
-
@Uberlad You can still login from the front page – just click the sign in button in the top-right corner.

We’re testing a new public homepage for http://twitter.com. Search, trends, new design. Poke around, let us know what you think.
-
@rmamobile You were in SF? :-(
-
@evan Or customize the toolbar to add the “new login” button. It’s not there by default, because they want you to use browser auto-save.
-
@evan Password history is a list of generated passwords. Logins store sets of keys/values. Add a new login directly: File > New login

@delbius It’s only $1 difference temporarily, so it was a no brainer for me. Pro is also slated to come with MobileMe syncing.
-
@delbius Pro. Only diff is copy/paste, and the Safari bookmark (I don’t use). I use copy/paste, but don’t understand how it’s unique to Pro.
-
@delbius Been using it for the past month – saved me a couple times when I didn’t have access to the desktop version. Wish it auto-synced.

Yikes. “We’re a sue first, ask questions later kind of an organization.” http://bit.ly/168tfS

@mags What a direct path to atheism!
-
Feeling calm before the storm. Except there’s no storm. Only quietly mounting tension and anxiety for what lies ahead.
-
@0Jungleman0 Wow, so much excitement for me. I don’t even know how to respond.
-
@marlaerwin Amen.

Grammar purists beware – I like “they” as a singular too. NYT column: http://bit.ly/uMgHo

@freaksngeeks Write off anything you’re doing, and just treat it as a game. First one to 100 wins. Or something like that.
-
@luxuryluke Scooter is such a generic word, isn’t it. Mine is a Xootr, and I’ve only had it a little over a month. That’s what’s troubling.
-
@rosshoward That was actually all @VL‘s design and coding work.
-
Pin holding the back wheel to my scooter just fell out on way to the train station. Fortunately, I was coming to a stop, so no crash. Scary.
-
If you’re gonna retweet me, you gotta tweet me right.
-
@bencekucsan Don’t give me any credit for 101. That was all our Brazilian rockstar designer, @VL. I’m sure he appreciates your compliments.
-
Happy Birthday to my beautiful and wonderful wife, @CamBowman.
-
Waiting. Hoping a few more details fall into place today.
-
What’s the point of a “decorative” fireplace other than to take up wall space and tick you off that you can’t use it on cold nights?
-
@CamBowman mid- goes up to at least 37, right?
-
Almost missed the early train this morning and had to run. But it was worth it to see my daughter wave goodbye to me for the first time.
-
@markfusco Les Miz is my favorite of all time so far. Been to see it multiple times. Would still go again. Helps to have read the book too.
-
@sazzy Just caught Wicked over the weekend for the first time. Enjoyed it, fun night, maybe a little quirky too.
-
These witches must have done quite a bit before Dorothy arrived to fill up three hours of a musical.
-
Found out we’re much higher on a waiting list for something we really want. All because of unintentional actions several years ago. #sohappy
-
@bratinella I should have signed those templates “dug wuz here” instead huh?
-
Partaking of delicious food from @LittleSkillet on a Saturday, including the choco bread pudding. @sacca and @Zhanna might be jealous.
-
RIP Walter Cronkite. 1916-2009.

Can’t even begin to describe how good that smelled back there. Chocolate high. (@TCHOchocolate)

Learning about new chocolate technology at TCHO.

@Arlen Twitter is real-time, right? Even the mind-reading part. ;-)
-
@shannonksapp Welcome. Follow a few more folks so your timeline fills up. Give it some time, come back. Takes a while to make sense. :-)
-
Finally solved a bug where Safari was adding an extra few pixels of height to a styled text input field. All came down to line-height.
-
Electronic music from the ice cream truck is sounding creepy.
-
@maxvoltar And option-clicking a dock icon other than the current app hides the current app and switches to the one you clicked. #mac101
