@bhaggs @faresende Guess what I’m not doing on a Friday night. 😛
-
@che Or like a truck hit something right outside our house. But it obviously wasn’t that. Our whole house shook once.
-
@che A very quick one? Like a single shake.
-
@kris Drawback of flying the coop: you get moved to the bottom of the list for rollouts.
-
@kvanscha Oh, you’re renting? You definitely need the landlord to deal with plumbing issues. Glad it will get fixed.
-
@stop @flexibits This might be subjective tho, and is coming from my comfort with list view in the default app.
-
@stop @flexibits However, getting into the weeds, something about the size/weight of the type, and event spacing feels more difficult to read?
-
@flexibits Have been trying Fantastical on iOS more often since your tweet. Overall, it does feel like an improvement over the default app…
-
@bhaggs If our gen and younger listen to talk, it’s podcasts. Radio offers none of the control we’ve grown accustom to. Only convenience.
-
@kerem @hemeon @maxvoltar All of the above, probably. We hear about this stuff and parse it so much more quickly now too.
-
@hemeon @maxvoltar Tis one of the minor reasons we’re moving south. Slower pace, escape some of the craziness.
-
@stop @jodyavirgan With the near disappearance of scroll bars, and dominance of touch, the new(er) direction feels natural, esp with trackpads.
-
@jodyavirgan The transition to “natural scroll” was awkward for about a week when I tried it a couple years ago. But I can’t go back now.
-
@bergrbergr I hear it’s a slow rollout. They omitted that part.
-
@sacca @owenbrainard I’ve seen that. Are they expecting a pat-down?
-
@jpamental @jmspool Ugh. I’ve replaced a few faucets in my time too. They’re challenging enough without old age as a complication.
-
@jmspool Probably. House calls cost a little extra if I’m coming from SF, ok?
-
One leaky toilet repaired. Another toilet completely replaced. In case you’re all wondering what I do in my free time.
-
@kalkor Club can’t even handle you right now.
-
@tgerz They’re rare, but yes, you can find a few of them on Amazon or eBay. Released on DVD in 2008 – mostly blue cover.
-
@stop And for any of you about to do the same, via recommendations, we’re doing them in Machete Order: IV, V, II, III, VI. nomachetejuggling.com/2011/11/11/the…
-
@Greeblehaus Why did you have to inject “meesa” into our heads?I had conveniently forgotten about that. @trammell @sacca @sippey
-
@trammell @sacca @sippey Yes – have kids! #getonthat
-
@jlax Looks more like a remote now.
-
@iA Could go Memento style with release dates: 3, 2, 1, 6, 5, 4. Then 7!
-
@iA Did you watch them in numerical or release order?
-
@sippey Say no more. #AmazonCart
-
@iA I can predict Vader being Luke’s father raising a lot of questions and concerns.
-
@yipe Ugh. And those are the ones she wasn’t supposed to like.
-
@GBKS Our daughter has been studying and learning the diffs between fiction and non-fiction. This will be a good add-on.
-
@GBKS Six. I was five when IV came out in theaters, so I figure this is about right. She’s been asking about it.
-
@kitson FYI- I’m not at Twitter anymore. Did your outage get fixed?
-
@bhaggs @maxvoltar You used “ask” as a noun. I don’t even know you anymore.
-
@emoore You must have been visiting on 1 of the 4 days a year it rains there. ;-)
-
@jj Thanks. But for our sanity, I hope it’s not every weekend. ;-)
-
@mathowie Yep. Though winters in the two areas don’t really compare. We’re looking forward to more sun.
-
@mdo Everything counts in large amounts, Mark.
-
The graph on the wall tells the story of it all. Picture it now. See just how the lies and deceit gained a little more power.
-
@markboulton It’s like a metric system where 0 and 100 are pseudo extremes of livable temps. 0 is effing freezing, and 100+ is effing hot.
-
@markboulton 32 is the freezing point of water, so 30 is just below that.
