@sdw I lament the absence of soul and personality in most designs. Relating ChatGPT to a search engine, as soon as we tried adding personality, users felt like the results were biased in a certain direction. Sometimes bias was good. Other times, it caused users to distrust quality.

Such complicated emotions, and hard to process. Some live their battles with demons publicly, as @dooce often did. Others, we never know about.

@cameronmoll We’re a few years away at 14 and 11. This is definitely not the same phase as when they were younger. Parts of this phase are easier. Others are way more challenging as they work their way toward adulthood and independence
