RT @IvanaMartinovic: 2011 is gonna be a bitch to kern
-
@cameronmoll All I read in that tweet is that you got @dburka for Christmas. Jealous. :-)
-
@crystalskull55 I haven’t seen a physical (mounted art on boards) portfolio for more than a decade now. Everything must be online.
-
@tsheiner Initially, it sounded disingenuous. But I’m impressed with their goals and campaigns to reduce waste and landfill.
-
@FictiveCameron As I’ve said already, I think their fraud detection algorithms were changed recently to be overly aggressive.
-
I’m all in favor of the trend to relabel waste and garbage bins as “landfill”. But recycle and compost bins should sit immediately adjacent.
-
For fraud, crime, and terror prevention, we’re advancing too rapidly toward Minority Report and “precrime”.
-
@sacca I blame the fraud / spam / security algorithms. They’re trying to be too clever in prevention. Can’t fully replace human judgement.
-
It’s a crapshoot for us whether our BofA debit cards work for us each time. Customer service can only “apologize for our inconveniences.”
-
For those wondering, BofA keeps putting fraud alerts on our account, causing constant declines. Detection algos are overly aggressive.
-
.@BofA_Help Sure you can help. Followers want to know too. Any recommendations for a more reliable bank than BofA?
-
After 20 years with Bank of America, its reliability and customer service has become so poor, I now recommend avoiding BofA completely.
-
@jmspool But how ’bout a lot of snow?
-
@ladyfox14 Other senses help inform. That’s the beauty of having the photo more fully described later on – they can learn what was there.
-
.@codemonkey_uk And technically, “it’s” is a contraction of “it is” and needs an apostrophe, and beautiful is spelled with an “a”. Geez.

That blind folks enjoy taking pictures is awesome. Esp. if sighted users could help write descriptive captions. http://j.mp/hjlauM

@TimHaines One – a 2yr old daughter.
-
@ilovetypography Say it isn’t so!
-
@colbay In earlier versions of iPhone OS, you had a choice of what double-clicking the Home button did.
-
@smileyj68 That would kinda be like asking the same question about Twitter in 2007.
-
Stunning, must-see photo of a full rainbow over the Bay Bridge by @mostlylisa – http://flic.kr/p/941ZXh
-
@notdougfunnie Funny thing: @jmspool‘s answer on that Quora topic is one of the reasons I originally shared the link earlier today.
-
@mattymcg Ignoring? How could anyone ignore all that? ;-)
-
It’s a challenge just to find the supposed content on this page: http://j.mp/fp4oND
-
@mdo That’s what happens in an upward economy when you’re not under rent control. Time to find an old building in SF!

Good discussion on Quora about the difficulty tech startups are having in finding designers: http://j.mp/g33a0x

With all these refs to Comic Sans Criminal, I can’t help hearing MJ’s Smooth Criminal every time. #ruOK http://j.mp/gNX3DP
-
@smcbride That must have been fun. And will continue to be every Tues.
-
@Faz_Kerk We don’t yet provide notification of new DMs.
-
@EvI8n Hopefully it’s good past the end of 2010?
-
@DominicScott We’re working on DM notifications. And the home dashboard is ripe for more iteration. What do you want to see there?
-
AOL has been on an acquisition roll lately. Their latest addition: About.Me tcrn.ch/eOj1aH
-
@DominicScott Old Twitter won’t stick around forever, so prepare for that now. What don’t you like about #newtwitter?
-
@xninalove12 I’d like to think that’s not true…
-
@jpcody Lots of differences in how browsers behave as they append more elements to the DOM as the user is scrolling. Tough problem.
-
@jpcody I assume you’re talking about as you scroll down and more tweets get loaded automatically? If yes, super annoying for me too.
-
@anniickx That’s me.
-
@inkpixelspaper Apparently not possible right now, but that’s one of the cues we initially planned for the design.
-
@inkpixelspaper True, but we don’t just want a total count. Something better is designed, but it’s limited right now by cost of DM polling.
-
@jc No, separate issue. That state is entirely stored on the client.
-
@inkpixelspaper Old Twitter doesn’t have this either. Only thing it has is a count of total DMs, but even it didn’t update dynamically.
-
RT @joshu: heard yahoo is talking to everybody but me about taking it back. i find this fascinating.
