Writing (outside of a tweet) for the first time in a long time. Noticing I’m out of practice.

@jillyface ‘Tis better than a holey ship, eh?

@connors Next time, try the blueberry biscuits.
-
@HannaMarieAlley Totally unfair for you to characterize me like that when you haven’t even met me.

Kinda wish some iOS apps came with the ability to change their app icon base color. Too much blue? Here are a few alternates to use instead.
-
@luxuryluke ‘s alotta tweets, yo.
-
@cdevroe Ah, different type of URL issue. Yes, I’m glad to be ridding of #!s too.
-
@cdevroe What you likely see now is how it was always supposed to be. Shortening conventions should be invisible to the user.

@carloposo You can easily guess an email that will work for me by using first name and domain.
-
@carloposo Yes, sorry. I think the form plugin I raved about so much is finally kaput.
-
@Ed Wasn’t intended to be a criticism of your writing per se. More of a critique of the evolved syntax of linking tags and people.
-
@Ed cc @ #? Rt @: @ @ [content]
-
@Ed This tweet’s syntax I’m replying to is why a lot of people don’t understand Twitter. 140 characters of complexity. :-(
-
@subcide Now that’s user centered design…
-
@gwb Darn. Thought it was going to be a picture of the HQ lobby signage. Was going to tell you you’re lost.
-
@gwb That suspended van in front of Bell Plumbing gives your exact location away without saying anything else.
-
@subcide You could argue that the dog house is just as much for the owner (if not more) as it is for the dog.

@BlackheathLife Yes – @jillyface is the right contact for that. Many thanks for your help.

@StuRobson @aral Start with @jasoncosta – he’ll know where to direct you or how to field the issue.

@tapbot_paul I can imagine what the 71 is. Where does the 982 come from? Following vs all?
-
@Ed Fantastic! Congratulate him for me. Or show him this.

Today is the day you prove Murphy was wrong.
-
@rk So is the tour still happening?
-
@rk Whoah. Interesting timing with the car fire happening right now on the bridge. twitter.com/couch/status/2…
-
@jontangerine I’ve overheard similar conversations. Always fascinating. And always worth recording.

@tinNaiNna I can @stop any time.

@hemeon Amen, brother.
-
@jennadawn Congrats, Jenna. Glad to have you with us.
-
@gsp1984 @caryl_shaw Except that fashion and design/typography somehow completely eroded in the time between the two photos.

-
@JonathanHoover Deleting the app, moving Newsstand out to top level, then reinstalling fixes the issue and correctly places it inside NS.
-
@JimEngland I think it’s iPad only. So if you’re searching via your phone, you won’t see it.
-
@JonathanHoover So I guess when Newsstand isn’t at the top level, this happens when installing a new content app. Others have seen it too.
-
@JonathanHoover I had used the gesture hack a long time ago to put Newsstand into a folder, since I rarely use it.
-
@JimEngland Serious or sarcastic? Just search for Fast Company Mag in the app store. It should have installed into Newsstand.
-
@dvdsmpsn I’m still surprised that this isn’t prevented somehow.
-
@JonathanHoover Still there, on second screen, holding Wired. But not FC. :-(
-
@StuRobson @aral Sadly, I don’t have an answer, because I haven’t heard of it before. But I’ll flag it to @Support and see what can be done.
-
@jeffrey Yeah, because I’d want to sit there and take 300 photos if checks on a Saturday night… :-)
