@johnirwin_john Opposite here – didn’t know about the cheese. Though their butter sometimes tastes like cheese, and could sub for it on a sandwich.

Once you try Kerrygold, it’s hard to go with anything else. twitter.com/BenRiceM/statu…

@calyxinstitute Not mine. Be careful with usernames.

@stop There’s a lovely innocence to this that reminds me of listening to radio when I was a child.
-
@stop Here’s the irony for me: they like it because they don’t have to do anything. They have no control (other than volume). There’s no search for an artist or playlist. There’s no back or skip button. No cover art to confirm. New music just keeps playing, one surprise after another.

Our daughters just discovered a retro-looking radio with an analog needle and dial that we’ve had for years in our living room. They know about radio from our cars, but they only associate it with driving. They now think that radio music is the coolest thing ever.

@bijan take me home

@TerribleMia Seems like contain: might end up pairing well with :has, right? Going up (not just down) the DOM is going to be crazy! I don’t envy the folks who work on rendering engines. 😬

@stop And if we can’t tempt you with a plate of Samoas, there’s a new cookie this year called the Adventureful. (I wasn’t consulted on the name.) Think chocolate brownie with a caramel cap and a bit of sea salt.

It’s that time of year again, where rainbow-colored boxes of Girl Scout Cookies taunt you until you finally have some in hand. Our younger daughter @addie is taking over this year. And she made a (very short) little video she would love you to watch. getcookies.org

@mikeindustries The battery life on these nearly matches my finger’s endurance. Despite battery often draining sooner than full completion of vacuuming, I’m always relieved when it finally shuts off.

@bhaggs @joshwilburne @mikeindustries @TwitterDesign Can’t believe you held it that close to your mouth. I assume that it would suck all the moisture out of anything immediately, like a silica gel pack.

@mathowie We still have a v1 in a drawer here, and I’m surprised not at the small size, but at how thick it feels. (I’ve stuck with minis and SEs, so never went bigger.)

@jayesun Et tu, Brute?

@Brilliantcrank @notasausage “stay positive” … I see what you did there, Storey. Hope things turn around soon, Patrick. If it’s any consolation, we were in NYC days before Christmas, and it was a bummer, because our shows all cancelled, and things were starting to shut down quickly. Feel better!

@philcoffman There’s always someone on the losing side…

Scientific observation: Based on the increasing frequency in which it seems to be infecting friends in my timeline, “wordle” is more contagious than “omicron”.

@mikeindustries @UberEats Postmates does this too. We waited over an hour what was to be a 35 min delivery. Restaurant had the order ready on time. No driver ever came. I finally drove downtown and picked up the order myself. Fortunately it was something we could reheat.

@NorahODonnell @MacFarlaneNews Scott definitely earned this spot. He’s been amazing to follow over the past year+. Tireless, even-keeled, comprehensive.
-
@triketora So, in other words, your product is working, and he’s complaining that his tweets aren’t getting through to as many people?

@localcelebrity @jasonsantamaria @NickSherman I’d guess that it’s going to cause even more chaos at print shops that do lots of spot color jobs (rather than 4c process). Imagine all their inks mixed to match Pantone colors now have to be matched to what… random cmyk approximations?
