@brad_frost Ah, it goes way deeper than that, my friend. Remember Zoolander?
-
@TimHaines Not sure if it’s consistent. I tend to use it for messages that I want to stand out, even if already labeled.
-
@TimHaines It’s called Starred and Not starred intentionally (as opposed to Favorite) so you can use it for anything you want.
-
@TimHaines It’s the same as applying a label. Adds that conversation to a list for later recall. Just gets special visual treatment.

OH: “Only one more sleep until tomorrow, right?”

@jcknotts My phone (in panorama mode).

@trammell Well, this explains a lot about our first interview. cc @SchauerTime
-
@notasausage Right. My point is that “SafeUnsubscribe” is basically fictitious. It doesn’t exist. Anyone can use that link for any purpose.
-
@notasausage That’s just a language pattern adopted to look official/safe. It seemed to originate with SafeSubscribe from Constant Contact.
-
Don’t troll @mkruz too hard. Otherwise, he’ll crumple up his latest poster and throw it at you. cc @dbedingfield

@giron Apply any color overlay, and it would make a beautiful desktop wallpaper.

@Robin2go @samanthatoy A small selection of accounts have that option. See the official statement at the end of this: thenextweb.com/twitter/2011/0…

@jencotton @davidbellona iCommute uses the same NextBus data from the bus shelter displays. It’s ugly, but mostly functional.

@RyanBarton Right. Also: twitter.com/stop/status/14…
-
@alexhorre @jbrewer Possibly. But that’s the way to do it for now. You could also request your tweet archive to search past tweets locally.

@RyanBarton Blink, and she’ll be 1 year like ours.

RT @jbrewer: How long before our information gluttony leads to a type of cognitive diabetes?

@chrisfurniss @beep The difficulty lies in the intent. A tweet TO a person is often not intended to be broadcast widely. But one ABOUT, is.
-
@smarty Was?
-
@chrisfurniss @beep Challenge though: when a tweet starts with the @, it’s hard to know if the intent is TO the person, or ABOUT the person.
-
@beep Yeah, the reply-hacking doesn’t work so well. If just trying to tweet about someone, that’s where we perhaps need alt fanout rules.
