@jmacofearth I’m one of them. So now you can change the post to address me by name. Why so much bitterness?

“Living with regret is much harder than living with defeat.”
-
@_FK_ I think we rolled out a fix this afternoon that prevents people you’ve blocked from showing in your lists.
-
Props to @rael for the bulk of engineering behind our new follow lists, and for getting the little details right.
-
Stop by and say hello to your new following and followers pages. Or anyone’s, for that matter.

Via @rainnwilson “It would be great if they sold Euro at the Dollar Tree.”
-
@robey My AT&T coverage also disappears once I get into the city. It’s fine down south, but constantly cutting out up here. Density? Hills?
-
@jmk Ah, working in Google Docs, I often want to preserve formatting such as headings, bold, color, etc because they have meaning there.
-
@TomGooden Yes, “Paste and Match Style” is convenient when it’s available. But sadly, not all apps provide it as a paste action.
-
@jmk Yes, I use LB. But I disabled clipboard actions for it. That, and I like to choose when formatting is stripped, and when it’s not.
-
PlainClip is a quick way to strip text formatting from your clipboard’s contents before pasting: http://bit.ly/b8Y4l (Mac faceless app)

It’s not the cost of real estate in CA that will bankrupt me. It’s the amount of Twitter clients for the iPhone that keep appearing.
-
Remember the Milk iPhone app now has push notifications. Eager to see this in action.

Attempting to navigate about the city during Pride weekend. We’re not that smart.
-
Chose @Greenerprinter because of the strong focus on environmental impact. Plus, they’re right across the Bay from us. http://bit.ly/3w1hJr
-
For those who asked, I ended up using @Greenerprinter for a small, temporary run of our biz cards. We’re very pleased with the results.
-
@ptg So I guess it’s goodbye for now, but not forever. Best wishes on the road ahead.

1982’s Thriller still remains (and will for many years) the best-selling album of all time. http://bit.ly/hwlx3

Remember a little article written by @zeldman 8 years ago? http://www.alistapart.com/articles/tohell/

I don’t understand why so many people give up and claim they don’t have a choice. You *can* choose to not support this nonsense.
-
Why all the fuss over Outlook and its rendering engine? Why not get everyone to ignore it & decide not to support its team’s poor decisions?
-
@sean Sweet. It even stands out, but not too much. Any idea why the print button is stacked below the Tweet This button on its own line?
-
Got hung up on by a telemarketer tonight. I must be getting better at handling their calls.
-
Our dog turns 3 this week. That’s 21 in dog years. Drinking age. I think he’s earned a beer.
-
Caltrain running late again today. This time due to an “unruly passenger” in Mountain View. #joy
-
@jenna Imagine what that movie did for those of us with daughters who will too quickly grow up.
-
There is no better sound on this planet than that of my own child’s laughter.
-
Watched Taken last night. Summary: Liam Neeson as a retired spy, father, and general bad ass. Good movie for Father’s Day weekend.
-
@rickturlington You too, Rick. Hope this trip is going better for you guys than last week’s.
-
If you use our conversation to pitch a successful life, and you somehow tie that to Amway, our conversation will be over immediately.
-
Combined birthday and Father’s Day weekend celebrations have commenced.

Been using @evernote for a year now. Love it. Notes synced & available on any platform. New client for OS3 rocks: http://bit.ly/olmDv

Tweetie’s twitpocalypsed search results are starting to feel like bad implementations of the “I’m feeling lucky” button.
-
No guarantees what you say or write about someone (or your experience with him/her) won’t somehow make its way back to that person.
-
@30SecondLife I agree, We’ve already created new designs with that + more. Just waiting on resources to implement it. Low priority for now.
-
Gmail’s “Undo Send” (enable it from Labs) comes in really useful now and then – http://bit.ly/2kWRWt Gives you ~5 secs to undo sending.
-
And here are the instructions for configuring Google Sync for the iPhone – http://bit.ly/dzy4N I only use it for calendars.
-
@matijs Negative. With Google Sync, there’s no more need for a computer as middleman. It’s a direct sync connection to the phone.
-
Google Sync and OS 3.0 now supports up to 25 calendars http://bit.ly/Geafk No more BusySync & MobileMe hacks to sync Gcal with the iPhone.
-
You may now change your email signatures to “Copied and pasted from my iPhone.”
-
Interesting that @ATTNEWS is responding to & featuring tweets like this http://bit.ly/JKSXn by posting videos like this http://bit.ly/DhZ7p

One small step… auto-authentication for iPhones at AT&T wifi hotspots. http://bit.ly/16lQz5

Attempting to satisfy my curiosity of what certain odd-looking businesses are along Caltrain’s path.
-
@zeldman Exactly. Just identifying additional future opportunity (by stating the obvious).
-
@AndrewGrill Freudian slip on that last hashtag? :-) To which quote are you referring?
-
@camcavers If only I had one. (See tweets from Monday seeking printer recs…)
-
3 suits next to me in a cafe discussing sales tactics. I hear, “What about Twitter?” “Don’t bother, that channel won’t be around next year.”
-
Finally following @sween and @badbanana because I see so many good RTs of them by @BestAt.
-
Fever will really take off if/when @shauninman (or a partner) turns around a hosted, no-setup version.
