@CamBowman Happy Birthday to my beautiful and amazing wife. I love you!
-
@nancybroden I especially like the black on black version.

My Measures & Dimensions: Cool iPhone app that lets you take any photo & add dimensions to objects: http://j.mp/bKLx1J (iTunes)
-
@sippey I know you’re joking, but I think that actually gets at it. I hold this one much more delicately, and I shouldn’t need to.
-
@joshelman I do like the screen. Just wish Apple hadn’t changed the form factor so much.
-
@joshelman Couple of days? I’ve been using it for several weeks now, and my opinion has only grown stronger.
-
@smileyj68 Discussion-starting is intentional. Inflammatory is not.
-
@KuraFire I did have the white one. But I also used a super thin Power Support case.
-
@lorenb If you’re talking about the 3G/s, it felt much more natural than the 4. And I never noticed any grease…
-
@AndrewCrow You keep the Magic Mouse in your pocket? ;-)
-
RE: iPhone4 form factor – edges are too sharp in the pocket, front & back aren’t differentiated enough, doesn’t feel natural to hold it.
-
After several weeks of use, I’m still of the opinion that the iPhone4 has the worst form factor of any iPhone so far.
-
@feather Ran into the same issue in our old house. I also remember the project taking way longer than I expected, for the same reasons.
-
@feather Is that a hole and electrical wiring for a ceiling light/fan? Difficult to tell from the photo.
-
We spent the remainder of last week with family in Spokane, WA, and, unexpectedly, off the grid.
-
@jeffrey I frequently used Leewood over 10 years ago while at HotWired. They were always great to work with then.
-
@splorp Yep – that line was never intended to support all the meta data being crammed in there now.
-
@nicknegulescu Thanks. Hey, btw, is this you? http://j.mp/9Bh8K7 Suspicious that it’s an exact copy of your reply, yet with no attribution.
-
@nicknegulescu Purely intentional. It’s a pixelated version of a high res photo of mine from NZ. Plus it optimizes well.
-
@nicknegulescu Not sure if I can answer that – I don’t have the perception. I’m a delicious user, but have definitely used it less lately.
-
@notableapp Hah – I had a slide in my talk that showed how Notable was actually good about email notifications. Got cut because of time. :-(
-
@DragonC There’s something in there about all ye who are weary and troubled (and fatigued), and I will give you tweets…
-
@rjs Probably depends on level of risk taken that resulted in a mistake. It’s probably more rewarding the willingness to take a risk.

RT @CamBowman: So this is what summer feels like!
-
Waiting for our flight to Seattle. Hoping the good weather up there holds through next week.

-
@Reedy Not sure. Even though Apple provides the ability to contain them in Settings, seems like UI laziness on the part of the developer.
-
@meyerweb A little too bright for my taste. But not far from Yahoo’s color.
-
@WSig Seems easier to me to place them consistently in app, because you often want to see the effects of each change.
-
@mynameisraj Seems easier to me to change them in app, since you may want to immediately see the effects of each change.
-
While I love the iPhone and its OS, the notion that some apps have embedded settings, yet others sit in global Settings, irks me.
-
@KatieS We’re very lucky – looking forward to having you join us. Have admired your work for a while now.

Seemingly living the “when it rains, it pours” cliché.

@olivierlacan We’ve seen most users access their tweets by clicking on their avatar/username/#tweets link at the top of the Home sidebar.
-
@olivierlacan Valid feedback though. We’ve seen some confusion in user testing over the Profile link before.
-
@olivierlacan Where is the other case? In the screenshot you shared, they both refer to the same thing. The lower link is profile settings.

Also of interest regarding the email/e-mail debate, Nigeria (scams): http://j.mp/cvACFC and Poland (reversal): http://j.mp/avGbfJ

@jmk You may think it sets expectation, but you can’t determine how your recipients will view it, right?
-
The arguments for and against the “sent from my phone” sigs are passionate. Most fors use it as an excuse for taking less thought and time.
-
@jmk Still don’t see it as a valid excuse. It says you’re not important enough to me to merit the same amount of thought I’d normally give.
-
@sean Innovative thinking. But I think a few marketing firms already beat you to it.
-
@hardy24 For how long after the msg was sent though? And why can’t someone who has your mobile# always call your mobile? Why does it change?
-
@marcusbryan @jamesrwhite Including that on a short message says you’re not worth my full time or attention to typos. It’s a bad excuse.
