Whoah, “VideoEgg to acquire Six Apart” tcrn.ch/9PmEKb – Congrats to @dollarshort @btrott @sippey
-
@jacobrothstein No – we’ll be ‘fixing’ that soon, literally. ;-)
-
@marlaerwin With you, Marla. As if the web needs more incentive ($$) to place CAPTCHAs everywhere.
-
@WilloToons Congrats, Willo! Sounds like the perfect opportunity and partnership for you. Excited to see what this relationship brings.
-
@marcslove Strong words. We’ll take ’em – thanks!
-
@nowtherearetwo Yes. I took one of my photos from New Zealand, sized it way down, then blew it back up to get the pixelated effect.
-
@owenthomas We’ve never supported the idea of additional info in the background. Putting text in a bg image makes that info inaccessible.
-
@owenthomas What looks broken about it to you? Looks fine to me.
-
@SefSar We do that same thing on twitter.com now (show what tweet a tweet was in reply to). We’re working on expanding that further.
-
@codepo8 (Starting to feel like a conversation from #thematrix.) You’ll see the button once you have access. Not everyone has it yet.
-
@SefSar Ah, we provide a small portion of that now in the detail pane and on permalink pages. We’re working on showing more.
-
@codepo8 Just click the “Try it now” button once a refresh shows you have access. ;-)
-
@stephaniehobson No kidding. I imagine his/her mentions stream is basically worthless.
-
@TheRandomGuy100 The bird certainly wasn’t killed. It was promoted to serve as part of our brand. (see new logo)
-
I just sent an at-reply to @reply. It felt very meta.
-
@reply We changed the default avatar to the egg last week, ahead of the launch of #NewTwitter. I’m not aware of a default to follow you.
-
@danrubin Thanks, Dan. It’s a night and day difference regarding the impact that Design can have on a product.
-
@stirman Certainly a worthwhile meme. We need DP embed support for stock photo sites. Otherwise, copyright issues might be a problem?
-
@stirman “The photo assistant had to crumple our bags, because they never come this way.” twitpic.com/2pdoe0 #stockphotocaptions
-
@cdharrison It’s something we’ve recently considered. Not sure yet though.
-
@DrShoggoth I haven’t gotten into one in years, thanks.
-
@SarahENewman31 Make sure you’ve updated to the latest version of your browser. Then try a hard refresh as well.
-
@SefSar I’ve never understood wall-to-wall. And I’m not sure most FB users do either. So I guess the answer is no for now.
-
@owenbrainard Cheers, Owen. Relieved to hear that @jw has full use of his toes again. He’ll need them!
-
@jeffrey That shirt is awesome. I understand, because I showed the large version in design review, and sadly, half the room didn’t get it.
-
@SteveStearns Played a small role, yes. ;-)
-
@dorelvis Should have known I’d hear from you on that one Dorelle! Appropriate lyric too…
-
@khoi Wow, detailed. Forgot about some of those. And lots of comments to read through too. Thanks.
-
@Arlen Instead, I enjoyed your use of sycophantic. Cheers, Arlen.
-
@mike_ftw You might have me confused with Marissa. I think she’s into the cupcakes.
-
@mike_ftw Remember to send a beer to Twitter HQ now. And if you really like it, two beers. :-)
-
70s and 80s TV show theme songs to start design review today. Laverne & Shirley, Happy Days, Sanford & Sons, Hill Street Blues…
-
@andrewcatton No blues were harmed during the testing and tweaking of our new logo.
-
RT @trammell: Woah! @Forbes did a story about the #NewTwitter video we did and quoted me. Props to @briggles @jennadawn @jbuckhouse! htt …
-
@mike_ftw Maybe if you promise to use adorbs again…
-
@mdo Aw, now it sounds like you’re name-dropping to rub it in to @nicolebartelt. ;-) cc @sazzy
-
@sippey Thanks. Now that new-school RTs have been out for nearly a year, we intentionally chose a more subtle indicator for them.
-
Great to finally to meet @sazzy and her new husband while they were here in SF. She and I will both be speaking at FOWD in NYC in November.
-
@bbgoodkelsey Several: http://twitter.com/about/contact
-
@sippey If they’re your RTs, yes. If not, then no. The dog ears are only to indicate your stuff.
-
@sfegette Cheers, Scott. Glad you like it! Let me know if you have additional feedback.
-
@saila Thanks, Craig. Let me know if any feedback pops up as you’re using it.
-
@sze Good catch, still needs a fix. But meanwhile, you should be able to click on the Ok thanks button in the lower left corner.
-
@sze What’s the bug? Position of the dialog? I can’t see anything else in that screenshot.
-
@meyerweb ‘Tis a feature, not a bug. :-)
-
@kevinweil New logo looks pretty sweet like that, eh?
-
@travispuk I’m not aware of any plans for that. There could be scaling issues involved?
-
@AirynJ We updated the signed-out homepage for everyone immediately. But not everyone has the #NewTwitter yet.
