@nicepaul Wow – SyQuest and Quark in the same sentence. That takes me back.
-
Wait, QuarkXPress still exists?
-
@Zhanna Congrats, and welcome to the club. Thanks for agreeing to take the journey with us.
-
@joulee @mikeindustries I didn’t read much about the methodology, but was wondering if it measured the “break” you took between sets.
-
@mikeindustries @joulee It was off by 10 years for me (in the younger direction).
-
@isaach Same happened here a couple years ago. Work out an incentive with her during the day. “If you stay in your bed all night, then …”
-
@mkruz Pomade is good business.
-
@mike_ftw Carlos Arredondo, hero. m.washingtonpost.com/world/national…
-
@simmy Then you win, because no one else “gets” this concept.
-
@cap @mikeindustries Already possible to share 100 photos in a tweet. It’s called a Flickr url.
-
@todd_coleman @mikeindustries “email” was the last word.
-
@cap @mikeindustries I was going to point out the same thing. But the concept was even more preposterous.
-
@boagworld Search for anything on twitter.com, refine by clicking “People you follow”.
-
@Pifman It’s true. Though to be fair, this is new behavior, and likely a bug that will be fixed.
-
@Stephany_Lauren @kissmebby28 @hannabarnaby @samuelbv132 I’m someone you keep including by putting @stop in your tweets.
-
@HannaBarnaby @kissmebby28 @samuelbv132 @Stephany_Lauren Did I say anything was wrong?
-
@enunge @bigchaz @mikeindustries Makes me reminisce about this song blaring at TeaTime a few years ago: cc @Zhanna
-
@KuraFire I don’t know. Because it may be a bug related to a recent change in follow-up replies to a conversation.
-
So apparently replying to one’s self (for the time being) doesn’t require keeping the username in the tweet: twitter.com/stoptest/statu…
-
@AdamS Haven’t tried this yet (fear of spamming followers) but I’m told you can hit the reply icon, remove username, and maintain linkage.
-
@kalkor Every time I’ve dipped into my suggestions, as long as I play something in the set, 90% of it is good.
-
@mdo Love you too.
-
My suggested artists view in #music
-
@nicepaul Thanks for the info. See, even employee power users don’t entirely understand how Twitter works. cc @mezzoblue
-
@gabrielstricker @JimiHendrix Such a great song.
-
@brandnatter Ok, email sent. Have them (or you) keep an eye out for it. Contains useful information to prevent this in the future. ;-)
-
@brandnatter I now know suspension reasoning and have information/advice to pass along to the account owner. How can I get them that info?
-
@brandnatter Yes, I just received word from Support that they manually unsuspended the account. However…
-
@matias Just now seeing this ~3hrs later. Seems to be working for me now. Back up for you too?
-
@mbe @k @benvenAdi Crazy tech worlds infinitely overlapping.
-
@freaksngeeks No, this is the 510 office. We moved down to 660 just after I joined.
-
@Taylorharwin Perhaps you haven’t yet seen this, a little project I started a few months ago?… unintentionalmentions.com
-
@mezzoblue Most hardcore users, including myself, don’t always understand all the nuances of how Twitter works.
-
@Taylorharwin Hah – because of the all the stop’s in each message?
-
@tenfef Don’t think so, because by current Twitter rules, it would no longer be a reply.
-
@c41 Nah. Just reminiscing now that Wired is 20.
-
For those of you who’ve asked about my self-replies, all of my tweets are now auto-linked together into one story: twitter.com/stop/status/32…
-
@hotdogsladies Glad I was hungry enough to inspire you to cook!
-
@hotdogsladies You understand my perspective though, right? I was a peon at Wired in those early days. It was always way bigger than me.
-
@mikeindustries @sm “Acquiring” is a good way to put it, since the pickup will likely be at an SFPD station.
-
@hotdogsladies More than anything, it changed me and my narrow-minded perspective.
-
It’s both humorous and sad that folks equate the Wired office photo with recent Harlem Shake videos.
