@eddie I think the transfer would at least require a statement of intent. cc @jinen #Papyrus4ever
-
@sperte That was the reason I was ok with starting from scratch. Only reinstalling what I know I’ll need.
-
@snookca I may not have waited for the full 10 seconds when I unplugged it.
-
Restoring iPhone to factory settings, because sometimes, going nuclear is the only way to solve a problem.
-
@scottboms Perfect. I’ll just finish this case of Thin Mints.
-
These Olympics… please tell me it’s all been a bad dream, and we’ll be waking up soon.
-
@hemeon Ask, and ye shall receive.
-
@anthny I like what you’ve done with TweetDeck. Smplfy.
-
@Jason_Morrow Magnum PI is expanding.
-
@attaboy or @mbe, know who could help @hemeon troubleshoot this? @mikeindustries
-
@jbrewer Does “report” count too? ;-)
-
@jbrewer Engage – such an awkward term for this. Is this an “ask”?
-
@endashes Super passive voice though. Ick.
-
@jw I’d counter that: I liked it when it felt like we knew *everyone* on it.
-
@gt Gopher, Fetch, BBS, Mosaic, domains from Network Solutions, InterNIC, modems from US Robotics, IAB standards, HotWired.
-
@ericvansingel I want to go back for another already.
-
@DominicScott Hmm, very strange. On iOS, I see “1” as the number, but there are actually many more. We’ll check into it.
-
@bhaggs Yours get stuck in elevators. Not sure which one’s worse. cc @ThisGuy @mkruz @sanarao @davidbellona
-
@Yarcom I think because you can see and scan much more content at once. On small screens, quotes often take up ½ to full screen.
-
@sanarao At least you didn’t forget your phone too! This same trapping happened all the time in our last office.
-
@Yarcom I think you’re totally right on pull quotes in mobile layouts tho. They end up being repetitive or spoilers in a single column.
-
@Yarcom @KaiBrach Nah – I end up skimming and scanning on the web too. Pull quotes there can just as easily give me a taste.
-
@Yarcom @KaiBrach I don’t think that’s limited to print though. It’s any larger format where you can scan, including desktop web.
-
@jlax That would possibly change with this pilot program, right? Why stop at table inventory? Why not RestaurantOS?
-
@stop Betting that OT is deeply connecting to (or running) the ordering system. So your check is available as soon as the server enters the order.
-
@Yarcom I think you have a point if you’re talking about mobile vs larger-format. Because small screens don’t afford same type of scanning.
-
@jlax Indirectly, why not? I’m sure there’s a way to link a visa debit card to your MtGox account…
-
@ladylexy This is fantastic, Alexa. Something we’ve been wishing for along time. Congrats!

No more waiting for the check after a meal in SF. OpenTable launches pilot allowing you to pay with your phone. blog.opentable.com/2014/pay-your-…
-
@MarinerSoftware I’ll take that as a “don’t give up on Paperless and convert everything to Evernote just yet” kind of response.
-
@MarinerSoftware Any update on a version of Paperless for iOS that Trevor mentioned might hit in 2013?
-
@rachelgoula Not sure. Also unclear on why my username is here.
-
@iamshellyshel @SucioMiguel21 Thanks for keeping me in the loop on your hydration activities, yo.
-
@tmccormick @ThisGuy Adding to your answer, one may want a specific font allowed to be used per site, but maintain user prefs otherwise.
-
@tmccormick @ThisGuy What mods have you made to display settings or user styles?
-
@tmccormick @ThisGuy Did you take this screenshot Tim? Or is it from someone else?

@emmaboulton @andybudd Notice how the article switches between a benefit of $200m/yr and £200m/yr, as if they’re the same thing?
-
@andybudd No worries. This is an issue and a debate that will continue to grow more prevalent as our ability to collect data gets easier.
