@stop @AndrewCrow @tomcoates Don’t get me started on media view. I can’t tell you how many designs and prototypes of that we built over the years.
-
@AndrewCrow @tomcoates Read later for links in tweets already exists, via integration with Instapaper and Pocket. Is that what you mean?
-
@AndrewCrow @tomcoates Not advocating that (at least, I’m not). Engagement still happens with tweet, but it could contain expanded data.
-
@tomcoates @AndrewCrow Tip of the iceberg we’ve seen. Tho I’ve been surprised at the slow (glacier?) pace of the release of new cards.
-
@tomcoates @AndrewCrow Right. Just self-contained packets of additional info or data. Whether you point to the data, or enter it yourself.
-
@AndrewCrow Again, agreed. But it seems like a need that could be met, and in a very useful way.
-
@stop @AndrewCrow Difference here is a solution that collapses and expands text would store said text on Twitter’s servers instead of a url.
-
@AndrewCrow There are already implementations that push/expand beyond 140, a la news summary cards, etc…
-
@AndrewCrow Agreed wholeheartedly. Although there seem to be a few prolific offenders whom I bet we both follow.
-
@mkruz Oh I have, but I keep my dad pants pulled up to my chest.
-
@mkruz Backpack? I’m left wondering why your back pockets come halfway down your thighs?

@origiful @buckhouse @briggles “Briggypoo” huh? You love him, you really love him!
