@stop @artypapers @flyosity Moments was preceded by many short-lived attempts, experiments, and hack week efforts. None of them stuck.
-
@stop @artypapers @flyosity Theory was you could follow any topic(s) and supplement your feed, get notifications of highlights, active people, etc
-
@artypapers @flyosity And yes, moments gets partway there. Especially follow-able moments…
-
@flyosity @artypapers Yes, how? We worked on topics over 5 years ago. But then, leadership got shaken up and priorities reprioritized.
-
@smarty Clearly, we were synced on our hat choice. Guy in the Chargers hat next to you kept giving us dirty looks the whole time.

*This* is October baseball for the Giants and their fans. Pulling out all stops at the last minute to slide into Postseason. #evenyear

I’m left wondering what the fate of the iPhone SE is in a year or two. Or at least another iPhone this small. Still the perfect size for me.
-
@kerem One reason why I always opt for the extended keyboard. Bonus: never need to change or charge batteries.
-
Just got the fake call about the IRS filing suit against me. Either these guys attack everyone, or they have a list of phone #s in tech.
-
@andreabeaty Wow, is that print of David’s illustration available anywhere? We’re already looking forward to the next book and character!
-
We love these books by @andreabeaty. Her latest just arrived today. Great bedtime reading.

@stop This “feature” isn’t new. @waxpancake documented some of his research into “promoted-only tweets” earlier this year. medium.com/message/stupid…
-
@stop Twitter began debating this advertiser feature while I was still working there. Some employees called it nullcasting. I call it confusion.
-
When you know @Apple has been tweeting, but its profile is void of any tweets. twitter.com/apple/status/7…
-
First, it was getting tweets about earthquakes before they reached you. Now we get tweets from Apple before we hear them in the keynote.
-
Must be a learning curve to this whole Twitter thing…
-
@miradu Nullcasting still boggles my mind. Both technically, and from a PR point of view. Can understand NCing the confirmation replies tho.
-
@stop @sm Also, it’s a little dated by now (3 yrs old). My wife wrote this. Might be helpful, esp for families. amazon.com/dp/1493609149/…

@hotdogsladies Knowing Inbox Zero was +10 years ago, anyone should be able to figure out email is not the best way to get your attention.
-
@sperte Thanks. Fairly short vacation. And Oahu is a ways northwest of the big island. So hoping we avoid most of that action.
-
@jeremyreiss I dunno. Field of Dreams made Iowa’s corn seem pretty cool.
-
@iA FavStar had a feature like that, where its users could award one “tweet of the day” trophy each day. Sort of a best-of for faves/likes.
-
@nicolevogelsong We miss him. So happy to see him back on the mound at AT&T tonight. #ForeverGiant
-
@DannPetty I moved my entire family out of SF last year after living there for almost 20. Hard decision to leave, but it worked out well.
-
@AndrewCrow – @veen and I worked with one of AP’s first clients on a site design for their smart sprinkler system. etwater.com

@mgsiegler I also forgot about my caddying for a couple summers in Ohio. Good money too.

I kid you not. Woman in the third row of a summer music camp performance tonight held up an iPad Pro above her head to take video.
-
@mdo Staying off your lawn…
-
@mm_duffy Too short of a good career with the Giants. You’ll be missed! #ForeverGiant
-
@dustin Looks like this one is an expanded card, primarily produced by Foursquare, allowing you to stay within Twitter & view more tweets.
-
Finally, @cameronmoll’s original letterpress print, Brookyln Bridge, is properly framed and hung in my studio.
-
@mikeindustries Apparently the author and editor of that letter also believe in diversity of single and double spaces between sentences.
-
Playing in a virtual world by moving around (without constraints) in the physical world is a potent recipe for very bad things to happen.
-
@jw They already have a start. Downloaded the Disney-backed @littlstarvr app, and search Disney. Admittedly from a fixed view, but still…
-
@davepell More good news. Lots more. Until now, it’s been relegated to feel-good stories as brief relief and escape from the bad.
-
@natetharp We eat at Fig Tree in Liberty Station pretty often. I assume those are both of the same cloth?
