Day trip from Munich to Salzburg yesterday via 2hr train each way. Salzburg was stunning. Wished we had planned more time there.

@luxuryluke Yes, of course. We’ve heard very little English in Hannover and Nuremberg. Not many Am tourists, and me thinks fewer EU immigrants too.

@stop We’re really enjoying our unexpected stay in Nuremberg. It’s refreshing to stroll around an old city with no plans and beautiful weather.

Storms in northern Germany, trains out of Hannover cancelled, and we end up unexpectedly in Nuremberg for a couple days.
