@rsarver We’ve all been getting that lately, esp in Safari. I’ve had luck opening them in Firefox though – try that if you’re not already.
-
@ninavizz :-)
-
@TimHaines Oh, man. I can’t imagine that happening to my 2yr old daughter. My thoughts are with you, Tim.

@ilovetypography @behoff Bullets are also typically spaced away from the adjoining text, whereas hanging punctuation is rarely spaced away.
-
@benward Excellent. Looking forward to having you here, Ben!
-
@ferguskelly Bleeding edge tech. Update Chrome to the latest. Then try again. (I’m running 7.0.x)
-
@bendall Make sure you’re updated to the latest version. And try refreshing. Seems it can be a little temperamental.

Mind blown. Bar raised. @themaninblue‘s title sequence for WDS, using HTML, CSS, and JS: http://j.mp/c82cjG (view in Chrome)

Do not go gentle into that seemingly good service that creates a portfolio for you. Rage, rage against the dying of the site.

@mm Georgia is actually the one from MS: http://goo.gl/ecNT – TimesNR was designed in 1931: http://goo.gl/EmO8
-
@mm I think you have one of those backwards. Arial is based on Helvetica, and Georgia is based on Times New Roman.
-
@kevinrose Agreed – that’s the most frustrating part of live chatting with “Comcast” reps.
-
@TimHaines We’re pushing out new brand resources soon, and planning to phase out use of the t in favor of the new bird.
-
@tunco123 Technically, the Fav and Listed lines are supposed to be restricted to 2 lines as well. Keeps that area a little tidier.
-
@AlanHogan The implementation of the UI we want is difficult to get right. That, and fixing bugs has been a higher priority so far.
-
@PeterDean1 That’s coming. Patience…
-
@LmarieZ1 Like any company, depends on what you’re looking for
-
@mdo Duh. We should fix that.
-
@hemeon Slick. Especially liked the Innovation video.
-
@mkhoury Twitter has almost completely replaced RSS for me. But when I want to consume RSS, I’ll use Google Reader or Reeder for iPhone.
-
@yakimvanzuijlen If you’re on Home, both the Home link and the logo in the black nav will do just that.
-
@rogieking I hear sudo can do all kinds of things like that for you.

@notasausage Ditto on the Iranian food. Glad you could stop by for a bit.

When someone claims “there’s an app for that,” you may now respond with “and there’s a trademark for that.” http://j.mp/bO0Dch

Eight years ago, we launched a redesign of wired.com that altered the trajectory of my career. http://j.mp/d0rjzx

@k @c Sending rays of love and hidden double rainbows your way today. Congrats, and enjoy the heck out of this fabulous day!
-
@lovskogen I assume you’re talking about Settings? That will go away one Settings gets converted to the #newtwitter design.

Glossing over the details is not an example of how to get out in front of the storm brewing around your brand: http://j.mp/dh9cfB

@leggett Hey, the name in the by line of this looks familiar. Is this your wife? http://j.mp/dbeYvM Great curation of shots.
-
@levifig We’re experimenting with that right now. Possible enhancements coming in the future…
-
@AirynJ It may feel like it, but no. I still don’t think we’re at 100% yet. Let us know if you have feedback after using it for a while.

This is how it’s done. “Dear Gap, I have your new logo.” via @mike_ftw http://j.mp/aZfSMG

Kinda thinking this is an improvement – http://j.mp/b55auR

@neave We know, and it’s intentional for now. It’s still a preview. Hoping a degraded experience sans JS will be available soon.
-
@EtotheZ I agree on this one point – that the tweet DP shows too much right now. Thanks for the debate and feedback.
-
@EtotheZ We had something like that early on. But users got confused whether they were looking at the tweet DP or the profile DP. We did too
-
@EtotheZ If you ever want more info on a user, you just click the name. It’s better not to duplicate this info in multiple places. Trust me.
-
@EtotheZ The tweet DP is all about that tweet. So if the tweet is a mention of a user, it’s appropriate to show more mentions.
-
@EtotheZ The profile DP is intended to give more info about that user, (bio, location, recent tweets) to help you get a glimpse of them.
-
@EtotheZ Mentions aren’t controlled by that user, and most likely won’t help determine whether or not you want to follow that user.
-
@EtotheZ Wait, now you’re flipping on me and wanting mentions on the profile DP? I thought you were wanting Recent tweets on the tweet DP.
-
@EtotheZ Why duplicate for the tweet DP what could be shown if you just click their name and get the profile DP?
-
@EtotheZ Not in this case. If you’re viewing a tweet from your timeline, chances are high you’ve already seen their other tweets.
-
@EtotheZ You *are* confused. We *do* show what they’re saying. Click a username, and we show recent tweets from that account.
-
@EtotheZ That *is* what you get if you click on a name. But if you click on a tweet that mentions someone, it’s the other way around.
