I had no idea. Thanks to @noahharlan, here’s one source if you don’t have your own already: http://www.truck-nuts.com/balls.html
-
Apparently I’ve never seen chrome-plated testicles dangling from the back of a truck. Is this common in Texas? http://twitpic.com/3257z
-
Amazed at how many people take the effort to tell me my style sheet is missing. But they don’t read the msg at the top… or view source.
-
@fling Liking what I’m seeing at pinch/zoom. Info Browser treatment is interesting too. When will Cheep be available?

15 years ago today, an electrician entered a home & found a body, marking the point at which Cobain became more famous in death than in life
-
@rk hopefully I haven’t already been pegged as the one who proposes changes that break the things you end up needing to fix.
-
@jeffjose I tend to favor quality over quantity, but that’s just me. My frequency is slowly trending up.
-
Imagine working at a co where it’s not only accepted to have Twitter on your screen most of the time, but also a basic expectation.
-
awesome salads & sandwiches (!) at the office today from @mixtgreens – apparently this is a regular occurrence. Check them out if ur in SF.
-
RT @mistercameron You know your design sucks when it looks BETTER on #cssnakedday. Me: Actually, I quite like reading some sites this way.
-
Apparently getting naked early with the international date line throws off a few people. That, or they don’t know about #cssnakedday.
-
Whoah. I’m already naked today. It’s Apr 9 somewhere beyond the dateline. I will be stripped bare for the next 47.5 hours.
-
Sitting in a cafe. Man in front of me just lit up a blow torch. I’m not comfortable with this development.
-
@danbenjamin In my case, feels like it has nothing to do with avatar quality. More to do with some form of temporary visual dyslexia.
-
Is it just me? Or do others sometimes mistakenly associate a tweet with the author/profile icon of the tweet above or below?
-
ALA’s 2008 web design survey results posted. 30,000+ responses. A metric ton of data there. http://bit.ly/WatFY (via @zeldman)

Out for dinner with the guys. We chose Italian. For some reason, we’re hearing Christmas music. Italian, Bocelli. But Christmas.
-
@davidrdesign Actually, I agree, edges are a little sharp. To the point of almost driving me to take out a fine file to take off the bite.
-
@artypapers Also note: I’m currently using iCaltrain from the AppStore. Convenient that no connection is required to view the schedule.
-
@artypapers Nice design of the schedule page. Would be nice to be able to bookmark the result, so I could go straight to the schedule.
-
So far, the battery in my new MacBook Pro way outlasts the one in my previous non-unibody MBP from G. At least by a factor of 2.
-
This train schedule bizness is forcing me to be disciplined about when I leave. Both to and from the office.
-
@notasausage It is ironic, isn’t it? I think it’s the plugin I’m using (Twitter for WordPress) and the API calls it makes. Must investigate.
-
@egockel (and anyone else who asked) No, I wish. Note the intentional spelling: Maclaren. More like one of these: http://bit.ly/3sBbNj :-)
-
Getting an early start on the train. Lots of work to do for my 2nd week.
-
Finally gave in and bought a Maclaren. There’s obvious value in travelling light.
-
Her: What’s Naked Day? Me: When everyone strips CSS from their sites for a day. Her: Ok, good, I was afraid to click on naked.dustindiaz.com

Waiting at the Genius Bar to get my wife’s iBook serviced. AppleCare expires today. Suddenly, the ‘g’ key is working again.
-
@anildash is sad for the tables. Strange when they’re not used for their intended purpose – http://bit.ly/b04kc
-
Initiation begins, my first teatime @twitter.
-
@MandyPandy32 No, actually just sayin’
-
Wife’s ‘g’ key is broken on her iBook. She’s suddenly southern: eatin movin shakin chattin talkin takin tweetin…
-
@Malarkey Apple made it easier to keep yourself beautiful, no?
-
@amerz Nice post. But I’d stop short of calling any of that success. It’s instant fame, which can go away in an instant too.
-
@jasonsantamaria Thanks. I’ll ask about that. I know @ded was having problems with it too.
-
@Caltrain‘s bullet srvc into SF rules. 30 minutes from MP. Faster than taking Muni across the city.
-
I assume, by now, CADIE has determined which shade of blue to use, and whether the borders should be 3 or 5 pixels… http://bit.ly/3c54lb
-
Too many replies to address each one individually. But thank you, everyone, for the overly kind words. I’m excited to be here.
-
Don’t credit me for any of the UI changes you might be noticing today. The team was working on those well before I arrived.
-
So now that the cat is officially out of the bag, can I say how good it is to be working in SF again? Missed that.
-
Hello, Twitter – http://bit.ly/hellot

Also, my own mantra: Learn from your mistakes, but never dwell on them.

Just deleted Mountain View from the list of locations I check in my weather app.
-
That overly loud, screeching baby a few tables over? Probably our girl. She discovered her internal volume control this week.
-
@Lastion 15. Only bummer about it: no BTO option for a matte screen (only available on the 17)
-
New MacBook Pro arrived today. The Unboxing starts NOW.
-
Not my app. But having it installed on my phone makes it fun to ask people, “Wanna play Bowman?” – http://tr.im/hORj
