@ugmonk You might want/need an attorney specializing in copyright and intellectual property if you really want to go after this. I assume you do.

PSA: Periods in any Gmail address don’t actually matter. They get ignored by Google. Use them or leave them out. gmail.googleblog.com/2008/03/2-hidd…

@muraii Hah. That thing is so old, it should have “saurus” at the end of its title.

@suehepworth Glass of water, coaster, my watch, phone dock, and a remote.

@stop I wish I could grant notification privileges that auto expire after a certain period of time (1hr, 24hrs, 1wk, etc).
-
@mikefarrell I disabled iOS notifications for Facebook long ago. But I still get frequent email notifications that “[soandso] posted a photo.” So what?
-
@mikefarrell @tumblr No, was never a big enough user to grab the app. Egregious?
-
Apps that abuse mobile notifications (for promotions, etc) eventually get their notification privileges revoked entirely.
-
@kowitz Great run. Learned a lot from working with you and all your contributions.
-
@cap @jlax @mikeindustries I noticed your eyes look glazed over.
-
@jlax @cap @mikeindustries C’mon Jon, you mean it’s baking you uncomfortable.
-
@isaach I was trying to make sense of this as a metaphor, but came up blank. Ouch. Glad you’re ok enough to tweet.
-
@AndrewCrow @peterme @halvorson @mags Someone seems udderly put off by our conversation.
-
@mags @AndrewCrow Cud they have done it any other whey?
-
@stop Regardless: 1) still rooting for Twitter, 2) still use it every day, 3) can’t make everyone happy, 4) change is better than stagnation.
-
@natbolton “iterated on and tested to death” 🙁
-
Twitter, I so want you to succeed. But you make it hard to root for you from the sidelines. Your wounds are self-inflicted.

Remember when SSL/https was something you had to consciously think of or manually switch to? Now it’s nearly a default for protection…

That length of time between joining open wifi, and waiting for a dialog to pop up so you can accept the terms and gain connectivity. 😴

@dwjr Or maybe give it the old rm -rf

@benpeck Don’t fear risk… fear not taking enough risk.

@ericharr I know @CamBowman wants to go, but she says she wouldn’t go *just* for that. But you’re big Disney fans like us.

@markmcc Still so good.

@abcdannye Listening to Take It On the Run right now. Memories.

@mikefarrell @freckles Yep, one account. All your devices. When is @AgileBits adding me to their payroll? 1password.com/sign-up/
-
@freckles @mikefarrell I still use GAuthenticator, which could bite me if I’m phoneless. Need to look into this: cnet.com/how-to/how-to-…
-
@mikefarrell @freckles If you have the new-fangled 1P account, I believe you can login via any browser. Wouldn’t give you 2FA codes tho.
-
@mikefarrell @freckles Crazy how much we rely on software like that, eh?

@mikefarrell @1Password Unless you have a version from the MAS, follow these instructions. support.1password.com/kb/201702/

@jw @maxvoltar @pter Extension we had that that never made it: clone someone else’s follow graph as a list. Remember “View Twitter as…”?
-
@jw @maxvoltar @pter A big reason lists exist, and never required added accounts be followed first. Alas, lists never got love after launch.

Unsolicited plug: Catch up on each day’s news by subscribing to Dave Pell’s cleverly written @nextdraft. Worth it for the headlines alone.

@jillyface @sippey Perspective, Jillian. That bird is looking backward toward the classic Twitter of yore.

More discussion after a recent visit to the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. We have a lot more work ahead. growingupgoofy.com/201702/colorbl…
-
@sippey @jillyface “Never flip the bird.”
-
Profoundly humbled by our visit to @NCRMuseum. It’s a must see if you’re ever in Memphis.
-
@gruber I’m not that frequent a user of IG, and it was stressful enough for me going through that ordeal. Gotta be on @kevinweil’s radar.
-
Somewhere, there’s a security loophole that @instagram needs to fix. Happened to me, and keeps happening to folks with short usernames. twitter.com/gruber/status/…

@brupm It’s been long debated internally. But given the realtime fanout of tweets, a true edit feature as people expect is near impossible.
