A small thing I appreciate about Tweetie2: the app’s icon color. One less blue icon on my home screen.
-
@bs Also appropriate: Tweetie2, word!
-
@veen We frequent Cento and LittleSkillet on Ritch St – same kind of nostalgia. How about lunch at Zeke’s soon?
-
@mrrrrrrp Photo is still there, under the original link. http://bit.ly/1OZbau Still at no. 9. She just removed it for the updated poll.
-
Thanks to everyone who voted for our photo. Note: after seeing dramatic Twitter effects, we asked to be removed from the competition.

Dual-screen laptops: http://bit.ly/2xJSsf Cool in theory. But more moving pieces = more potential points of failure.
-
@ssawchenko What settings? What’s messed up? Can you be more specific what you’re seeing?
-
Welcome, @trammell, to our small but rapidly growing team. Excited to be working alongside you.
-
@Roland140 It’s too bad that an exec editor would mistrust the staff he hired in that way. Seems too much on the controlling side.
-
@DBeckner Happy Birthday, dude! Guess we’ll have to wait until November to see you again.
-
“There’s an iPhone app for that” is the new black.

How to rotate videos with QuickTime (think this requires a QT Pro license): http://bit.ly/VVgY9 (via @wubbels)
-
Rotating a photo 90° is easy. Rotating a video 90° should not be this difficult.
-
@marwansalfiti I wouldn’t call it tampering… more like stealing, then replacing with something less original.

In case you’re wondering about the Rand quotes, I pulled them as my response to changes at Yale University Press: http://bit.ly/lt8sb

“Bad design is frequently the consequence of mindless dabbling, and the difficulty is not confined merely to the design of logos.” –Rand
-
“The belief that a new or updated design will be some kind charm that will magically transform any business, is not uncommon.” –Paul Rand
-
“There are as many reasons for designing a new logo, or updating an old one, as there are opinions.” –Paul Rand

@tonygil Ticket trading. That’s an interesting concept.
-
Frustrated. I was cited tonight for “failure to yield to a pedestrian”. Especially when I’m normally careful of exactly that.
-
Looking forward to having @trammell join us at Twitter next week. http://bit.ly/flufh
-
@bullyingposters Wrongly attributed – I had nothing to do with that poster.
-
Catching up on some iPhotoing.
-
I’d certainly find this useful: “iPhone Needs a New Home” http://bit.ly/2ypB0i (via @@frogdesign)
-
@chrismessina Though not quite as warm as one…
-
@jess Thanks for doing your part, Jess… :-)

Thank you, generous meter-feeder. I only had 8 minutes on the meter. Came back 10 minutes later to find another 15 minutes added.
-
@mattproto We started rolling them out back in June – http://bit.ly/zErOL – but we’ve continued to verify more accts since then.

Lately, it seems weather forecasts (temps) for San Francisco have been even more inaccurare than usual.

Trying to stay healthy in a household with a sick wife and a sick daughter.
-
@jkottke Thanks, Jason. I can’t take credit for all of them though. And we still have lots of work ahead of us.
-
I must have just passed a milestone – there’s now a strange comma that appears in my number of tweets.
-
@ded If you were in Australia, we’d know why.
-
@CamBowman Just don’t forget to take it out of the oven now that nap time is over…
-
@ryancarson Love your ideas for @Helloapp. Would love to hear how it works out if/once you use it for an event.
-
Ran into @jack this morning @Sightglass. First time we’ve actually met/spoken in person.
-
@badbanana Except in this scenario, someone thinks you deserve to be at the party.

@NatalieLent If you’re talking about 140 in LA, no, sorry, won’t be there this time.
-
@t That’s what I’m doing already. Just seems like further integration is possible with a dedicated field.
-
Simple integration wish: any contact manager should have a built-in field for Twitter usernames. Additional features are bonus.
-
@mattdempseycom I have something similar that’s been in the queue for a while. Hopefully someday soon.
-
@jasonsantamaria Thanks, Jason. We have a lot more work ahead of us. Don’t expect them to stop anytime soon…
-
@babystacc I’m not smoking. And why are you calling me “missy” now?
-
Still enjoying the memories of last night’s dinner with my beautiful wife. Small place, good conversation, and delicious food.
-
@iHeartkandy Wondering what I did to deserve that comment? (You addressed me by putting the @ before “stop”…)
