New massively built playground in a park only 2 short blocks away. This is so gonna rock for my daughter. http://yfrog.com/5fhrtjj

First walk of the dog… IN THE CITY!
-
@Y2bk Agreed. Although I’d like even more sometimes, you can at least bump that the delay to 10 seconds in General Settings.
-
Just got saved again by Gmail’s undo send feature.

Spending the last night in our first (owned) house. We’ll miss this place and the memories created here. Leaving is bittersweet.
-
@juliehamwood Happy Birthday! Awaiting another happy birth day too.
-
Crazy. OH: “Who are the Twitter guys?” via Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
-
Apparently Hilton struggles with capacity. @HiltonHHonors accounts are deleted after only 1 year of inactivity. How convenient.
-
@DavidKaneda Congrats on the change. I remember that day (for me, 7 years ago) very well. Best wishes.
-
Reminiscing the past year of events and changes. Our beautiful daughter turns 1 year old tomorrow.
-
Growing achingly tired of Adobe asking me to quit other non-Adobe apps so Updater can finish the install process.
-
@santojay Congrats! Twitpic as soon as you can :-)
-
@santojay Woot! May everything go smoothly for you and Dawn…

Email received from AT&T: “If your CSS does not display, make sure you have Adobe Acrobat® Reader® installed.” Hmm. ok…
-
Twitter is what you make of it. Only follow the people/orgs that interest you. There’s no need to “follow back”. http://bit.ly/HHkGz

Three Dougs at the office now, and we all currently sit within earshot of each other. A “Hey, Doug” yields unpredictable results.
-
@notasausage There are folks who believe drinking hot beverages cools down the body. I’m not one of them.
-
Just received a few packs of @FieldNotesBrand, including a pack of Grass Stain Greens. Love these. Thanks, @Coudal!
-
Quick review: basil water. Kinda tastes like drinking the runoff from a Caprese salad. Or the salad spinner. Not great.
-
@liamdaly I was thinking that same thing. Although by now, someone could have reset the phone and removed the SIM card.
-
Note: “Find my iPhone” only works if the battery isn’t already dead. Hoping someone finds my wife’s phone, charges it, & turns it on.
-
@frankstallone Tell them to knock it off – my ears are burning.
-
Speaking of trains, ours kept losing aux power this morning. Only light going through pitch black tunnels were laptop and phone screens.
-
How does a train “forget” to stop? “Nb285 forgot to stop at Hillsdale. Will not be backing up either.” (via @Caltrain)
-
Can’t this train go any faster?
-
@amyjokim Mostly proximity to work & not being so far away from my family. Plus, I miss living in the city.
-
It’s official–we’re moving back to SF after living on the peninsula for 3 years. House may or may not be sold – these escrow periods stink.
-
I hate bandaids. But wearing one is kind of necessary after slicing through 1/2 of my thumb yesterday. At least no stitches were needed.
-
For the curious, this is the view of my ride home on a Friday night train. Can you say, Party!? http://yfrog.com/7halrj

Learned today at TeaTime: Idempotence – “multiple applications of the operation do not change the result”
-
@delbius just using those as part of my resistance. Had to fill up 140 somehow.
-
Must resist… the urge… to link to everything @anildash writes… even though he has good arguments… Apple & secrecy… I’m outta room.
-
Mmm. “Windows Phone”. Just drips off the tongue, doesn’t it? http://bit.ly/cZtH0
-
Apparently our daughter is not yet sensitive to the fact that mom and dad need more than two hours of sleep each night.
-
Enjoying reactions to our new Twitter front page. Though to be honest, most of the people commenting aren’t the target for this design.
-
@Uberlad But you don’t need to go to another page. The form appears right there on the same page…
-
@Uberlad You can still login from the front page – just click the sign in button in the top-right corner.

We’re testing a new public homepage for http://twitter.com. Search, trends, new design. Poke around, let us know what you think.
-
@rmamobile You were in SF? :-(
-
@evan Or customize the toolbar to add the “new login” button. It’s not there by default, because they want you to use browser auto-save.
-
@evan Password history is a list of generated passwords. Logins store sets of keys/values. Add a new login directly: File > New login
-
@delbius It’s only $1 difference temporarily, so it was a no brainer for me. Pro is also slated to come with MobileMe syncing.
-
@delbius Pro. Only diff is copy/paste, and the Safari bookmark (I don’t use). I use copy/paste, but don’t understand how it’s unique to Pro.
-
@delbius Been using it for the past month – saved me a couple times when I didn’t have access to the desktop version. Wish it auto-synced.

Yikes. “We’re a sue first, ask questions later kind of an organization.” http://bit.ly/168tfS

@mags What a direct path to atheism!

Feeling calm before the storm. Except there’s no storm. Only quietly mounting tension and anxiety for what lies ahead.
