@jasonsantamaria I’ve always liked the sound AppZapper makes when zapping an app. That, and the poof from OS X.
-
@tomcoates Not actually watching any tonight. Just awaiting the start of the season. Like if I chant those words, it will come sooner.

Can understand why Apple pushed to gamma 2.2. But would have rather seen them unleash a virus that set all Windows machines to 1.8.
-
Still not sure about this gamma 2.2 default setting in Snow Leopard. Colors seem so dark and over-saturated.

@hapkidogal Huh? What great news?

I’m impressed with Google Voice as a mobile web app for the iPhone. Even its visual design [gasp] isn’t bad. http://j.mp/aw9AEs

@DavidKaneda No snap that I know of. But you can also zoom in a little, hit Cmd-T for free transform, then use the arrow keys to nudge.
-
@anamitra Still equal, IMO. Imagine stripping off the usernames and avatars of every tweet in your Home timeline. You lose all context.
-
@anamitra I’d disagree with most of that, Anamitra. On Twitter, the who provides a lot of context for the what.

Just wrote “2008” on a check. Might have made sense had I written “2009”. But no. Apparently, I don’t write checks very often.

@furrier Interesting, John. If you’re just referring to “Staff Picks *”, you’re correct. Otherwise, you’re making incorrect assumptions.

The old SUL essentially over-inflated a few tires. Until pressure equalizes, some suggested accounts will still lose followers.

Devastating stats from @Water about water resources and sanitation in Haiti. Zinger: those stats were before the earthquake.

@LaughingSquid Good to hear. Goal was to enable users to find new, interesting sources more quickly and easily. This is only a start though.

@jinen Awesome. That’s part of the goal.
