OH: “Such As isn’t even on the map. What was she thinking?”

Have a Valentine? Consider donating instead of spending money on dying flowers or disposable paper cards. http://j.mp/caLxzQ

More than anything, amazed at the beautiful imagery being used to showcase Canada as the Olympics begin.

@ThisIsDannyZ This is what happened (almost a year ago now): http://j.mp/a7yhtA

Buzz is stirring contempt for Google among users that feel burned by auto-follow and confusing privacy settings. http://j.mp/b7VgKM
-
@markdotto Not so much if you knew that our old office space wasn’t air conditioned. Guess we just haven’t gotten rid of them yet.
-
@theharmonyguy I’ve seen both via Gmail when I test auto-complete. Sometimes it’s a name, sometimes it’s a full address.
-
@theharmonyguy Negative – those are the results of auto-completion. And both of those guys have public profiles.
-
The Buzz namespace automatically reveals full email addresses? http://j.mp/d98f7p
-
Good idea by @CamBowman – need a lock feature for the iPhone while playing video so a child can’t accidentally pause or hit home.
-
@meangrape So funny. But yet, scary at the same time.
-
@Ed You can also drag/drop the Buzz tab to the more dropdown below labels, so you never see the unread count.
-
Worth noting: Google took Buzz from announcement to fully launched for all users in less than 26 hours. http://j.mp/9okcVj

-
@markdotto Their site never felt inspired. Only reason the event felt Mac like back in the day was Apple’s dominant presence.
-
The main Macworld expo thing opens tomorrow, and it barely seems to be a blip on the radar.
-
@markdotto Boom. http://www.rubicode.com/Software/RCWebColorPicker/

So far, not understanding Buzz order, and why I keep seeing the same posts over and over. It’s like Groundhog Day every time I check it.

“r means comment in the Buzz world”

I thought “Words that Zing” would be an interesting read. But she lost me halfway through. Not enough zing. http://j.mp/dxICfR

@ded I was actually offended that you used incorrect punctuation. A period just doesn’t work there.

Could someone invent a temperature-sensing mouse, keyboard, or trackpad that somehow helps measure happiness and delight?

Almost disabled my contact form because of all the spam it drew. Then I discovered ContactForm7. Now: spam=0. http://contactform7.com/

@dlsHealthWorks I understand the link is someone else. But you included my username (@stop) after the RT.
-
@meyerweb Wow, particularly like the 2nd definition. Learned something new today.
-
@dlsHealthWorks What’s this then? http://j.mp/bfOaB8
-
@dlsHealthWorks Did I actually say that? You RT’ed me.

Wired built an app for the iPad using Adobe Air. Maybe they should have asked Apple about Air support first. http://j.mp/cAyqyX

@gb It’s definitely a shake-up to long-time habits. Took a bit of getting used to, and some customization to make it fit my patterns.
-
@rossboardman I tried both, but TextMate never stuck. Possibly too minimal of a UI. Coda seems the perfect balance for me.
-
@kjmatthews Coda has clippings. Not sure how they compare with snippets. Tried TextMate several times, but it never stuck for me.
-
@gb Multiple factors. Want of better code completion. Growing dislike of multiple panes. Simpler experience. Like Panic’s design…
-
@illbehavior Just came across TEA via @CraigGrannell this morning. Also making use of “Wrap With Tag” that’s part of Coda’s Sample Plugins.
-
Poor groundhog. Gets more attention in one day than it does the entire remainder of the year.
-
@CraigGrannell TEA looks helpful. I’ve been filling the void so far with the Wrap With Tag plugin, and hacking my own needs into it.
-
@onassar Thanks for that one. Seems to be a few more resources than what’s on panic.com.
-
Finally made the full switch to @panic‘s Coda a week ago after using BBEdit for 12+ years. Loving it so far.

@smileyj68 I’m thankful you guys didn’t handcuff him to his old desk.

Welcoming @markdotto to our growing team of designers at Twitter.

@Folletto We’re aware of the bug. We’re working on fixes to all of our buttons to eliminate browser-specific CSS they currently require.
