Call a spade a spade. Use witness, informant, or suspect. If they’re not guilty, doesn’t “person of interest” still imply suspicion?
-
Wondering why law enforcement and reporters now use “person of interest” rather than “suspect”. More awkward softening of our language?
-
@cliftonite You can’t, that feature is here to stay. Hopefully, you’ll start seeing those expanded similarly to how they are on twitter.com
-
@Mr0grog Looking forward to any future iterations you have in store. Qwot.es provides a great way to share and point to an isolated quote.
-
@smileyj68 @mdo says you’ve always been an outlier?
-
Eagerly anticipating a return visit to Wellington next week for @webstock. The crew there knows how to put on a fantastic event.
-
@TylerGalpin Absolutely! We’d welcome your visit. Keep us updated as it gets closer. cc @mdo @VL @jbrewer

@MarkPoppen I think Wacom tablet input is a known issue, hopefully one fixable. /cc @atebits
-
@MarkPoppen Links still not working? What do you mean? They’ve been working fine since launch for me. ?

@Ed In Seth’s words, which resonated with me: http://t.co/rxXtpD9

Eye exam today used Windows software running in Parallels on a Mac connected to an LCD behind me reflected on a mirror in front of me.
-
@jillyface Imagine if that 20% was a rule that remained constant as the company grew. Congrats – mine is coming up right behind yours.
-
@jarrodedgerton I don’t remember ever doing so, but you can probably sign up somewhere on their site. /cc @fontdeck

This first-issue HTML email newsletter from @fontdeck is refreshingly legible on a small screen. twitpic.com/3y14w7

RT @cameronmoll: A day later and I think @andyrutledge should be applauded for raising important issues, and @fchimero for amazing succe …

@joshelman Maybe that’s what strategery is?
-
@TimHaines Technically, it *is* against our rules: support.twitter.com/articles/18311 cc @Support @isaach
-
@TimHaines What’s the “following” flag below some avatars? It doesn’t seem accurate, because I’m following way more than it shows.
-
@TimHaines I’ve never seen that view before on favstar. Provides awesome insight, whether looking at my own faves, or someone else’s.
-
@ThisIsDannyZ We try – doesn’t always happen that way. But if we can bang out an answer and have the time to, we’ll do it.
-
@ThisIsDannyZ No. But you’ll hopefully start seeing those URLs expanded back to a useful version the same way you do on twitter.com.
-
TechCrunch, Thing Labs (Brizzly), About.me, and soon, Huffington Post, all under the AOL umbrella. Who’s next? http://t.co/ozonHUW

@ignaciogiri The causes on that page are still quite worthy. Check out what Groupon will match by clicking the donate button on each.
-
@kennethkufluk @danwrong Looks like they’re using the same tweet button for all 4 videos lumped together. Still strange.
-
Yeah, those ramparts? Not so gallantly streaming anymore, are they?
-
I don’t quite get Groupon’s sense of humor and how it ties in with these pro-social campaigns: savethemoney.groupon.com

RT @PatrickStrother: A rare year where the game is a lot better than the commercials. #sb45 #brandbowl
-
How am I supposed to watch the #Superbowl and its commercials when I keep seeing so many good tweets?
-
That commercial TheDaily just paid for seemed to do more to promote the iPad than its own app.
-
Anyone remember these from childhood? My wife has never seen nor played one. instagr.am/p/BcW4A/
-
@hemeon Nice. Congrats – you got that fast. Feels good, eh?
-
@dayn As I noted, I haven’t seen any slow down yet. But I also don’t open huge PSD files very often.
-
@tgerz Though I have noticed myself zooming in a few more times. My eyes are getting old. ;-)
-
@hemeon Pure Safari. But I’m not writing any code right now. Coda is just running because I forgot to quit it.
-
@tgerz That’s all on the Air, right now. So, yes, it could. cl.ly/103C0n3L351r3p… @hemeon
-
@hemeon My only complaint so far? Lack of a lighted keyboard. I got to rely on that when working in low light.
-
@hemeon I love the feel of it. When you pick it up, it’s about the same thickness as a new legal pad of paper. Little heavier. @joshhemsley
-
@joshhemsley If you have access to a higher-powered machine, it’s a no-brainer. If not, that’s the dilemma. @hemeon @addison
-
@hemeon Though I’m currently running PS, AI, OmniGraffle, Keynote, Twitter, Safari, and more. No noticeable slowdown so far.
-
@hemeon Tough to say. I also have a 24 imac at home, so I’m not reliant on the air.
-
@hemeon Sometimes, like right now. Though not full-time. I have a 27 imac at the office – that’s the primary.
-
@hemeon Just switched to a 13″ air with the ssd. It’s pretty amazing so far. Even though it’s only a 2.13 with 4gb ram, it’s fast.
-
Working on Twitter design, while my wife sits beside me watching Grey’s Anatomy, which apparently includes a bit of Twitter tonight.
-
@Ry It was more like flick-tap, flick-tap as fast as I could 55 times.
-
@leggett Agreed. A real estate company with technology baked into its DNA.
