I rate the quality of each day by the number of times my daughter makes me smile.
-
@mattlangan Yeah, not there for anyone else. It’s always been a smooth gradient, no pattern.
-
@mattlangan The black bar? We haven’t ever had a textured background there. (?)
-
@DavidKaneda Unfortunately (for this instance) you only receive emails of mentions from people you’re following. He only follows 1.
-
@iamFinch Oh, man. I don’t miss those. Only time my mouse gets turned over now is so my daughter can burn her eyes out with the red laser.
-
@iamFinch And… things people from the past can laugh about now. #stillcorded
-
Happy birthday, @jasonsantamaria and @GrahamJenkin! ‘Tis a good month for design birthdays.
-
Gmail/mobile now uses pull-to-refresh. #gesturesFTW /cc @lorenb
-
@StewartMccoy It’s a bug that got introduced recently. Will hopefully be fixed soon. Sorry.
-
@shauninman Nicely done, sir. @mikeindustries @benward @twitter @trammell @k @mezzoblue
-
@mezzoblue @benward @k @trammell Kinda similar to requests for help and complaints about Blogger templates a few years ago…
-
@MulderMedia Be more specific? The number it loads? The number that fit on screen? Compared to what?
-
@ahemphill Really? Hmm…
-
@ahemphill yes, I think so. Not there anymore, so I can’t confirm. No idea how many pairs they had.
-
@behoff @StewartMccoy @jbrewer Also, it allows users to reply freely as often as they want without worrying about overloading all followers.
-
@behoff @StewartMccoy @jbrewer Otherwise, typical users would be seeing *lots* of replies totally out of context to people they don’t know.
-
@luxuryluke Thanks, Luke. Isn’t every day get old day? Or is that only beyond a certain threshold?
-
@Jennison Thanks, Jennison! Hope you’re well.
-
@joeypfeifer Thanks, Joey!
-
@twotribes Yep, bug logged. Thanks!
-
Four other designers I know all share the same birthday today: @vpieters, @WilloToons, @PDollar, and Josie Delker. A happy birthday to all!
-
@mdo A link may have helped my last tweet: techcrunch.com/2010/08/10/int…
-
@mdo Apparently, last August?
-
@KaiBrach They were cutting the table up and donating portions to parks. They also planted 10 trees for every one they used.
-
@testbeta If you notice, it already uses t.co in the background. Most Twitter clients now expand those automatically so you never see that.
-
The table at this picnic is 305 feet, 3 inches long, and is bolted together in one long continuous piece. 7,000ft of wood, 4,000 bolts.
-
World’s longest picnic table http://instagr.am/p/F80lF/
-
@jmwhittaker There’s also a festival today in North Beach if you can make it over there.
-
RT @TylerFlorence: World’s largest picnic table. 305 ft. Beautiful day in San Francisco with @Safeway and #OpenNature http://twitpic.co …
-
After giving my 2-year old daughter a dime and a penny from my pocket: “I need more money, Dada.” #itbegins
-
Heading over to the Marina in a bit to eat at the world’s longest picnic table (and set a world record) frugalday.com/stores/safeway…
-
Really looking forward to dinner tonight with our Design team. #growing
-
@joshuarudd Failing completely, or for specific events? Every now and then, certain events fail for me.
-
@AndrewCrow @swissmiss @trammell We’re looking into it. It was a surprise to us too.
-
@gary_hustwit Hey Gary, several of us replied to you that we’d look into it, & we are. Tweets like this won’t help move anything faster. ;-)
-
@gary_hustwit We’re looking into it, Gary. The change took me by surprise too.
-
@holaMau Notice was given, and he never responded. How long do you expect Twitter to wait if you’re making the request?
-
@MarcDrummond Notice *was* given – even he admits this now: infovore.org/archives/2011/…
-
@MarcDrummond Anyone can change their account name anytime they want. twitter.com/settings/accou…
-
@andybudd If you recall, I tried to bow out earlier. Good night, Andy. ;-)
-
@andybudd Sorry – it just doesn’t seem to warrant constant rehashing and last word digs. Pet peeve of mine.
-
@notasausage Which he certainly could have done after getting notified of the violation of policy and getting suspended.
-
@notasausage If you had registered @GGBridge, and were issuing updates as the bridge, why would you be surprised when you got suspended?
-
@andybudd But now we know there *was* an attempt at discussion, and he never responded back.
-
@lukeredpath Even more reason why the name and entity isn’t free for anyone’s taking. It seems to be owned by the City of London.
-
@shiflett True, notification would have been ideal, and a chance to move to a new username. I don’t think policy accounts for that yet.
-
@shiflett True. Even stickier if you’re operating within the same space – and in this case, the same brand and entity.
