Email: “We’d like to place a text link on your website.” My response back: “What’s a text link?”
-
@mdo I like your response. Another tweet advised me to cut off send back the label from my mattress.
-
Questions from the survey: What time do you usually leave for work? Do you leave a key outside your house? Where is your stash of money?
-
@PDXsays Nice. I think I’ll submit that in the postage paid envelope. Thanks.
-
@mko Very personal and intrusive questions. Seems like a scam to me. Especially the threat of fines and penalties.
-
Anyone else in the US receive the American Community Survey from the Census Bureau? 28 pages of questions required my law to answer? #BS
-
@andyjoslin @ded It did change this week. Part of a simplification effort.
-
@TimHaines One of them, yes. But rarely tweet and never retweet from them.
-
@TimHaines I do run more than one, but I rarely tweet from the others.
-
@tedgrafx It did indeed. Back to proportions Design originally intended. #notcrazy
-
@TimHaines @lorenb But you don’t get that with the retweet confirmation dialog.
-
@webpapa Unnoticed by all but designers and typographers.
-
@TimHaines @lorenb I’m not sure that edge case would be worth the extra complexity just to retweet…

“Size is the enemy of growth.” —@kevin2kelly at #sfcm
-
@BrianOmuiri Nope, that’s how he was introduced. He’s actually @kevin2kelly.
-
“Strategy is what you choose not to do.” #sfcm
-
@sproutworx Yes.
-
@BuddhaSource Agreed. And note the little jump button in the top right corner.
-
@jlbruno If you don’t get a response after a while and need additional help, let me know.
-
@osum It’s a good thing if you’ve been trying to explain how you use Twitter.
-
@jlbruno The Support team definitely monitors that account. But I think they typically respond with their personal accounts.
-
New following pages work for non-users too, so you can point your mom / brother / coworker to it and let them see the way you use Twitter.
-
@porada Now, you can get a sense for how that feels too. Good or bad.
-
@paulozoom Return to the proportions we originally intended during the design phase. Also, constraint is good.
-
@toddbudnikas Note the two tabs at the top of that page. One for Tweets, one for People.
-
View Twitter the way I see it: tweets from the people I follow: twitter.com/#!/stop/follow…
-
@jmwhittaker And you too, James. See you in SF soon.
-
@StuRobson Note that you can disable each type of notification directly from the email itself.
-
@StuRobson What does “force to use mobile Twitter” mean? Who’s forcing that?
-
@Jason_Morrow Not sure. We don’t have anything to do with embedly or how/what they render.
-
@Jason_Morrow Screenshot? I don’t keep embedly installed, so that I see things as most users do.
-
RT @twitter: Starting today, we’re rolling out an email notification that lets you know if someone you follow retweets or favorites one …
-
@rands With the air quotes, eh?
-
@fr3aky Much better, thanks. Though after x-rays and blood work, we never found out what was wrong.
-
@kyle And I thought it was Ok cancel.
-
@mitchell_jj @kylefox Ah, but Twitter for Mac *can* tell you. Just hover over the follow button.
-
@mn_brian This issue is fixed now. When I log in from a profile page, I remain on that profile page. If not fixed now, it will be very soon.
-
@welcometothesky We’re already aware, and are doing something.
-
@owenthomas @trammell And catching it dated you, Owen. Takes one… ;-)
-
@trammell Ew. That’s eerily #heavensgate looking.
-
@bryanjswift Yep – Exquisite Tweets by @jwheare is probably what you remember. Here’s a collection: exquisitetweets.com/collection/sto…

@jodyferry You don’t like the stacked vertical look? ;-)
-
@richardhenry You swallow it?
