Received my first calendar invitation from MobileMe today. Very elegant and simple design.
-
@DrGallego Pass on to Kelly: Why do your tweets sound like they’re coming from someone on your staff, rather than from you?
-
OH: “Please don’t whale me now…” My brain cues Duran Duran.

I’ve always been curious why we label some products as search engines (effort) rather than result engines (value).
-
RT @jeffreyremedios: Irish student orchestra covers Daft Punk. Must see this. Modern, exciting, youth arts engagement – http://tinyurl …
-
@jemaleddin Looks like it wasn’t successful loading your relationship. Normally, right beside that dropdown.
-
@Firinne_ A little better, now that he has pain meds. After x-rays and blood work, we still don’t know the cause.
-
Scale: Twitter now processes 13 billion API requests per day mediabistro.com/alltwitter/twi…
-
@jakepolo Yes, among other fixes too.
-
@jamesmcdonald @mdo Yep – just use this to have it reset your password and send a link to your email: twitter.com/account/resend…
-
@smallandsimple Thanks to some recent cleanup work by @mdo. Cheers, Tom.
-
@AlexMC183 In that case, Command-Shift-r does the trick.
-
@AlexMC183 Why would you need a refresh button with user stream support? Tweets appear as soon as they’re created.
-
@mundoplano Those titlebars (other than the App Store) don’t have any functionality in them though. Once they do, they’re +2x height.
-
@jasonsantamaria I think the tweet removal might be something custom @lorenb or @sandofsky cooked up on the client side.
-
@jasonsantamaria @AndrewCrow Actually, yes – Report for Spam automatically blocks too. It may not remove them from the timeline in T/Mac tho
-
@mundoplano Double height, or half height – depends on your perspective. img291.imageshack.us/img291/1333/sc…

@danieleagee The count pre-shortened shouldn’t matter. That can be as long as needed. Like so: maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sourc…
-
@danieleagee Automatic, invisible link shortening happens in the background. Could that be what you’re seeing?
-
@stevehurd Typically caused by a slow or interrupted connection where you are. It will time out if the request takes too long.
-
@davebarrett Don’t think that’s an issue anymore. Next time you try it, let me know is that’s so.
-
@notasausage They’re here to stay. Check this out: t.co And now, you see them in Tw/Mac as intended.
-
@davebarrett Which retweet bug? That it didn’t indicate you retweeted something – yes. Or something else. Lots fixed with this one.
-
@notasausage Not sure why it needs to show Growls on launch. T.cos are now expanded by default though.
-
A big update to Twitter for Mac (2.1) is now available. Username autocomplete, standard UI, fix for Spaces, and more. itunes.apple.com/us/app/twitter…
-
@EvI8n @ideal1st Uh-oh. One of your hacker friends must love the Arctic Fox. Currently leading by over 500… Emma still loves her lion.
-
@multimichel Are you updated to the latest version? That was an issue for me with 2.0, but not since. Also could be API issues.
-
RT @ev: Good design used to make you stand out on the web. Now it’s the price of entry.
-
@Shahryar Not email. Mentions and replies are the most common. Sometimes DMs.
-
@Iconmaster Of Twitter.com pages? Or external pages? Which URLs?
-
While the volume may be high at times, I love that people can use Twitter to contact us and send us feedback about Twitter.
-
@hamlesh No fool – it takes some getting used to for a lot of people because of habit. Thanks for the feedback!
-
@hamlesh It shortened both the link in your tweet I’m replying to, and in the tweet it points to. All automatic. Try a long URL.
-
@listaryapp Fine to keep the quote. :-) Though I’d prefer the contractions I used remain (you’re and you’ll) twitter.com/#!/stop/status…
-
Maybe @beep already said this: seems another way to talk about responsive design is that it’s *responsible* design.
-
@jsamuelson @brianjarrett Pretty sure Brian already included that in the original review.
-
@BrianJarrett Doh, who’s your host? Sorry about this. Both times I’ve linked to your software reviews, the site comes down. :-(

-
@spinclair Agreed. A most overused term as of late.
-
Innovation always leads to different, but does not guarantee better.
-
@TimHaines Sorry – NH *Landmark* – not monument. Duh…
-
@TimHaines It’s the only moving National Historic Monument – everyone wants to ride them when in SF. Def worth it to do at least once/twice.
-
@TimHaines The turnaround at Powell & Market serves both lines. Pass on the Powell/Mason & wait for the Powell/Hyde if they let you.
-
@TimHaines That’s short for a weekend with good weather.
-
@unstressedvowel Embedded/swirled in. So they were crunchy and salty and ok I’ll stop…
-
Custom ice cream flavor tonight is malted vanilla swirled with carmel and chocolate-covered potato chips. Amazing.
-
@marcibabs Sure – get an iPhone. ;-)
