@tomcoates Commas happen.
-
@tomcoates To avoid confusion, you, of all people, should know how to punctuate Tom, Dick, and Harry.
-
Now @Starbucks is using @FreelanceWhales in their latest commercial. See what you started, @trammell. starbucks.com/blog/freelance…

@jwheare Very cool to see them all grouped in one place. Apparently the “just setting up my twttr” was scripted for a short while.

Two collections of tweets about Twitter today. @jack on its history: exqu.is/c/stop/289 and @rsarver on its future: exqu.is/c/stop/288

@jornvandijk No, not this year. Would have been fantastic to meet you all though. Have fun.

RT @Joi: Finding the juxtaposition of the feeds of glee from SXSW and the Japan Earthquake and Libya hard to reconconcile in my brain
-
@nashatwork Did I miss something? By the way, hi.
-
@TimHaines Wow, scary. Can’t believe the cost of the damage. What’s the crumbled brick structure in the foreground?
-
RT @Zhanna: Favorite line from Mayor @CoryBooker‘s talk at Twitter this am: “Embrace the anger of your constituent AND address it”
-
@yaykyle No – I’m pretty sure that’s a bug, and our mobile team is already on it.
-
@Ed Prostyle! Similar to LinkedIn, they have a means to officially connect to Twitter. Did you not want to do that for some reason?
-
@FrankAldorf Do you mean to address all these tweets to the Twitter Design team? That’s what happens with the @. Maybe you mean #design ?
-
@AndrewCrow Ah, that’s the power of real time. #IWD, the exact date for this year, is now history in most parts of the world.
-
@AndrewCrow And to think I originally learned about #IWD this morning via the quickbar. Hmm.
-
As an update to the iPhone client hits the app store tonight, here’s to another bar living on at Twitter HQ. yfrog.com/h8j5uuzj

@cmykcity Absolutely. Brighter than any star – two bright points of light, moving across the sky in the same path.
-
@_strada Just looking up. They were in plain sight, following along the exact same path.
-
@lydiamann They were brighter than any star, way too high to be planes. Moved in the exact sane path, ~30-40 secs apart. @fraying
-
@muzza299 It’s brief, but was worthwhile. Of course, it was like 7:30pm-ish our time.
-
Wow, that was cool. Just witnessed the space shuttle and space station pass over San Francisco in the same orbit.
-
@JariHakkarainen This is primarily a setting that people set once, and leave. Users either like one behavior or the other.
-
@JariHakkarainen That’s a checkbox in prefs. You want more than that?
-
@maheshcr I haven’t had good luck with html5 video so far.
-
@veen Could you disable all non-necessary Flash while you’re at it?
-
@stupor Thanks. I filed a bug, as I don’t think that’s the intended result. BTW, very few people even know about that trick.

RT @Brilliantcrank: “The cost of being wrong is less than the cost of doing nothing.” — Seth Godin, Poke the Box http://is.gd/B7bl8A
-
@Braxo That’s exactly where it will be. Thanks for the feedback.
-
@mdh With the new change, you won’t see the bar as often. And I honestly don’t believe it will contribute to any clutter.
-
@broksas It’s automatic now, similar to the way Twitter for Mac does it. Notice the char count after pasting in a long URL.
-
@Jonic Yea, we have. And after the update, you’ll see it far less often, so no need to disable it.
-
@nzkoz Thick skin is a requirement in this biz.
-
We submitted an update for the iPhone client to Apple on Friday that prevents the bar from appearing mid-timeline & overlaying tweets.
-
@jw I’m sure you’ve seen… we submitted an update to Apple on Friday that prevents the bar from appearing mid-timeline & overlaying tweets.
-
@RDadmaine We submitted an update to Apple on Friday that prevents the bar from overlaying tweets.
-
RT @SG: Twitter submitted an update to Apple yesterday for our iPhone app. It fixes some bugs & makes it so the quickbar doesn’t overlay …
-
@richchetwynd We may eventually get there. Meanwhile, we’re scaling back the frequency of its appearance until we do.
-
@AdamStadtmiller I don’t know – I’m not affiliated with @Square. I’m sure @jack knows of int’l support.
-
@StuRobson Thanks.
-
@aarron Yep – it seems to save me a step every now and then of verifying a username. Glad to hear you like it.
-
Twitter for iPhone users, hang in there. We’re listening. twitter.com/twittermobile/…
-
@ThatArtistGirl Welcome to Twitter, Lenore. Glad you’re here.
-
@fvsch Agreed. I’m singling out hateful words that aren’t really feedback.
-
@fvsch I’m not saying that. But harshly negative feedback is not helpful. Ever.
-
I love that our users are passionate, and that it’s easy for them to send us feedback. Constructive feedback is heard. Vitriol is ignored.
-
@jratlee Honestly, ’twas my opinion the first couple days I used it. But it grew on me over time.
-
@jratlee Wow. Dude. Give it some time before you throw it out with the bathwater.
-
@jasonsantamaria It’s less disruptive than push notifications while you’re in another app. How do you feel about those?
-
@afruit @jasonsantamaria Right – that’s the intent.
