Awesome shot by @amandapalmer of werewolf: round 2, last night, which I ended up skipping to get rest. twitpic.com/40ocne

@Di9it8 I’ve been – back in ’05. Hit all three of the Hackett jumps back then. Great rush. dbowman.com/photos/nz04/ga…
-
@mdo @joeypfeifer @Brilliantcrank I’ve been hearing reports of quite a bit of hail too – fun!
-
@meyerweb Better yet, the sticky still attached, and NO signature.
-
Making my daily pilgrimage to Caffe @laffare on College. Will be there until 9ish. Join me if you’re up and in the area.
-
@barryhannah Cheers, Barry. Thanks for noticing the detail. Hope you enjoyed it and took something away.
-
@brookefitness I think you’re referring to @pictory at pictorymag.com.
-
@chiefie Hit ? to see them. :-)
-
@tomcoates Oh please, your slides have way more craft in them than mine did. You’ll put us all to shame.
-
Whew! #Webstock talk done. Fantastic audience – the funny tweets went over well. Cheers to everyone who’s here.
-
Perfect lunch with @tomcoates and @fchimero. Though I had “Pan-seared Fish in Crazy Water”, so excuse me if something goes wonky on stage.
-
These folks responsible for @webstock are a class act. They’re genuine, and they muster up everything they can to throw an awesome event.
-
Ok, so it was actually @lovetheweb‘s rooftop deck that I got to hang out on today. Need to work on that username auto-complete stuff.
-
Fantastic afternoon conversation over beers with the folks from @Springload on their rooftop deck. Want more of that, please.
-
@nzkoz Cool, thanks – must give those a try over the next few days.
-
@nzkoz Caffe L’Affare (third visit in 3 visits to Welli) was wide open at 6:30 when I got there. They welcomed me in early. Love that place.
-
So far, it seems near impossible to find a good cup of coffee at 6am in Wellington. Every place I walk by shows no signs of opening soon.
-
@flyosity Surprised you took the time if you did’t think we’d listen? Glad you did take it, btw.
-
@asmartbear Interesting – so if something proves to be statistically significant, can you really draw absolute conclusions?
-
@alpyne Yeah, finally noticed it was warning me about Opera resetting data. Definitely an odd choice for a public terminal, eh?
-
One fresh pull of data using Twitter/iPhone is almost 300k of data. Int’l pay-per-use is $.0195/Kb. That would be almost USD$6.00 per pull!
-
Forced to use OldTwitter on this terminal in Aukland airport. I’ve forgotten how to find my way around without #newtwitter.
-
@CamBowman Get them out of your system while you can.
-
FaceTime on the iPhone is an awesome way to say goodnight to my daughter right before boarding a plane. Suspect I’ll be on it a lot soon.
-
@luxuryluke I think I might also need a Constant.
-
@luxuryluke Actually, I leave NZ at 7:30pm later this week, and arrive back in SF at 10am the same day, earlier than I left.
-
The astute will notice that the day I’m skipping by flying to New Zealand tonight is (unfortunately for my wife) Valentine’s Day. :-(
-
About to board a flight to New Zealand. I love the slight mind bending that crossing the date line induces. I will completely skip Monday.
-
@pflynny Hey, so there *are* a few other people from the @Springload office that are on Twitter. See you soon, Paul.
-
@mdo @joeypfeifer Incorrect. I believe they still have a “good grades” club you both should look into…
-
@bobulate If any of your students are interested in moving west to SF, make sure they know Twitter is hiring designers.
-
@weightshift I always thought the H there was for Humble. More of a clarifier that this may not be fact.
-
@gklka I don’t see the web as virtual any more, if that’s what you’re referring to…
-
@annrathkopf See previous tweets about suspects, etc
-
From now on, Designers shall be known as “Persons who are potentially capable of arranging elements within a physical space”.
-
Call a spade a spade. Use witness, informant, or suspect. If they’re not guilty, doesn’t “person of interest” still imply suspicion?
-
Wondering why law enforcement and reporters now use “person of interest” rather than “suspect”. More awkward softening of our language?
-
@cliftonite You can’t, that feature is here to stay. Hopefully, you’ll start seeing those expanded similarly to how they are on twitter.com
-
@Mr0grog Looking forward to any future iterations you have in store. Qwot.es provides a great way to share and point to an isolated quote.
-
@smileyj68 @mdo says you’ve always been an outlier?
-
Eagerly anticipating a return visit to Wellington next week for @webstock. The crew there knows how to put on a fantastic event.
-
@TylerGalpin Absolutely! We’d welcome your visit. Keep us updated as it gets closer. cc @mdo @VL @jbrewer

-
@MarkPoppen I think Wacom tablet input is a known issue, hopefully one fixable. /cc @atebits
-
@MarkPoppen Links still not working? What do you mean? They’ve been working fine since launch for me. ?
-
@Ed In Seth’s words, which resonated with me: http://t.co/rxXtpD9

Eye exam today used Windows software running in Parallels on a Mac connected to an LCD behind me reflected on a mirror in front of me.
-
@jillyface Imagine if that 20% was a rule that remained constant as the company grew. Congrats – mine is coming up right behind yours.
