I’m this old when I discovered the vanishing point filter in Photoshop. And now, my free-transform mastery for mocking up 3d objects is eclipsed by one simple filter.

@philcoffman @simonvillet Simon’s result is basically the same as what I suggested (identical peak points and valley curves) but just approaches it differently. He also allowed the curves to come up higher, resulting in a pointier wave, which ends up looking more stylized… 1/x

In Google Sheets, count all unique occurrences of a number or string within a specific column. So simple, works well. stackoverflow.com/a/15309944

@bhaggs Also check out Kindle “Free Time”. You can temporarily put your Kindle in a kid mode, where they only have access to books you want on that device. Also includes lots of kids books for free. Works even better than parental controls, IMO.

@AndrewCrow I like my Garmin Fenix so much more because of its form factor. Round, durable, chunky. But I miss some of the elegance and diversity of features on Apple’s watch.

My biggest wish for Apple Watch’s design feels like the most remote possibility: a round body. The rectangular form factor has been a detractor and a pet peeve of mine since its inception.
