@H_FJ Wow. Those were the days when fonts had to be present on the printer to print with them.
-
@gwb Evernote. Comes in all of those favors too, plus text recognition.
-
@ryangoodman Totally. Really surprised that didn’t exist on day one or soon after.
-
@bensk Yes. And I don’t think that test is running anymore.

New version of Twitter for iPhone adds photo galleries for profiles and searches, login verification, and (finally) list management.
-
@DSGNRSteve Hah! If you think that’s high, take a look at the Elevation Dock: elevationlab.com/products/eleva…
-
@luxuryluke But forrealz? The lack of a good dock was holding you back from upgrading?
-
@luxuryluke I’ve been using the Elevation Dock (via @Kickstarter) by the bedside. It’s been working well for recharging & clock display.
-
The new HiRise iPhone stand by @twelvesouth looks like it sets a new bar for iPhone display and docking. twelvesouth.com/products/hiris…
-
@amerz Technically, CSS was already at v2 by the late 90s. Just that no one was using it then.
-
@samanthatoy @JennLukas Does that mean good or bad then?
-
@mjacksonw Mine too.
-
@jim_cervone They show up in the notification center. Though it appears they might be truncated, with no way to see the full alert text.
-
@nickgould Seems like Apple should be routing them to the Messages app as a special message type for later retrieval. Colored differently.
-
Since iPhone Amber Alerts aren’t tied to an app, I wonder how many people know where to find them after they disappear from the lock screen.
-
@luxuryluke is vs. am, right? This tweet is more obvious: twitter.com/barackobama/st…
-
@steveportigal @dearman Darn – I’ll miss this one. Leaving SF late Thurs morning. Enjoy your time here.
-
@mdo Package it up into a deodorant, and you could smell like that every day.
-
Rooting for @CamBowman, who’s about to start her first 5k. #giantrace
-
@trammell @design Technically true, as I still have them. But most of us can recall one that was either first or most significant.
-
RT @design: What was your “Aha!” moment on Twitter where you understood what Twitter was all about?
-
@dburka I’ve had a hard time convincing friends of this. What’s funny: they’re upset “someone else” has their address without the period.
-
@simplebits Lunch. Wednesday. Noon. Perfect. @giron @couch @frogandcode
-
@celesteasaurus She’s going to cause me lots of trouble in a few years.
-
@Yarcom It was 51 degrees when we got to the park this morning. And windy. Please send hear our way, we’ll send chill back.
-
@PaulAnnett Who brings shorts to SF in the summer? ;-)
-
@rsarver It’s also nice exposure for a lot of chefs who likely wouldn’t ever have or want their own show. Well done, @davidchang.
-
@rsarver @davidchang Really good. A mix of knowledge sharing, insider info, story, and fun. And just enough narration from @Bourdain.
-
@rsarver @davidchang Started watching this tonight after seeing your tweet. A few episodes in, and hey, there’s @DCPatterson! Good show.
-
@ChetnaPoojari I don’t know. First, I need to figure out which instructions, and where they live. So hopefully someone can correct them.
-
@ChetnaPoojari And by the way, here are all the SMS/text msg commands, in case they’re helpful: support.twitter.com/articles/14020…
-
@ChetnaPoojari I’m just trying to troubleshoot, not only because I get so many of these unintentional mentions, but I also work at Twitter.
-
@ChetnaPoojari Hmm. The instructions are wrong. Because doing so ends up sending me a tweet instead (my username is @stop).
-
@brokfootwear @naughtymutt @stopcoffeeshop Ironically, this just got retweeted into my stream: twitter.com/yoyoha/status/…
-
@NicholeBeaudry Did you try making one of these for your ice cream sandwiches? jezebel.com/oh-god-carls-j…
-
@ryanbrill You did. Hopefully I didn’t look too stressed. ;-)
-
@ChetnaPoojari Thanks. I’d like find out if there are written instructions that advise people to use the text you used. I get lots of those.
-
@mikeindustries @jodyferry I’ve seen this before. Did you tab/click into the pass field & type? Or use a password manager to fill it in?
-
@jbrewer Right? Remember the same times from the past? Exhausting and exhilarating at the same time.
-
@drwave Still relevant. Just coming up for a bit of air.
-
@bhaggs For your account, yes.
-
@sippey @KarlTheFog Kind of a gray area for jokes.
-
My wife’s little site (Growing Up Goofy) was just nominated for a top blog award. Maybe it’s the design? ;-) circleofmoms.com/top25/Top-25-N…

That phase when I’m so engrossed in current work that I forget to eat, I don’t tweet, and inbox is rarely seen.
-
@seacue Lots of characters at that party. Also, Jesus Jones?
-
So good to see and catch up with so many friends from the past tonight at a staff reunion celebrating @WIRED’s 20th anniversary.
-
Standing O for @timlincecum after a recap of his no-hitter. Well done.
-
@meyerweb @mikeindustries @Yarcom Yep. And of course parents of teenagers are laughing at us for thinking anything is hard at this age.
-
@meyerweb @mikeindustries @Yarcom How I see it: two is the age they learn how to throw a tantrum. Three is when they learn to make it count.
-
@bhaggs Cookie was really good. Thanks for telling me about Pastry Cupboard. I made sure to tell the cashier who sent me.
