Seemingly living the “when it rains, it pours” cliché.

@olivierlacan We’ve seen most users access their tweets by clicking on their avatar/username/#tweets link at the top of the Home sidebar.
-
@olivierlacan Valid feedback though. We’ve seen some confusion in user testing over the Profile link before.
-
@olivierlacan Where is the other case? In the screenshot you shared, they both refer to the same thing. The lower link is profile settings.

Also of interest regarding the email/e-mail debate, Nigeria (scams): http://j.mp/cvACFC and Poland (reversal): http://j.mp/avGbfJ

Regarding “email” vs. “e-mail”, this trend graph tells the story quite clearly: http://j.mp/9XWBOm

My @pixelworkers Local 415 shirt just arrived. Thanks, gang! Get one – their $17.76 sale ends today. http://www.unitedpixelworkers.com/

@jmk You may think it sets expectation, but you can’t determine how your recipients will view it, right?
-
The arguments for and against the “sent from my phone” sigs are passionate. Most fors use it as an excuse for taking less thought and time.
-
@jmk Still don’t see it as a valid excuse. It says you’re not important enough to me to merit the same amount of thought I’d normally give.
-
@sean Innovative thinking. But I think a few marketing firms already beat you to it.
-
@hardy24 For how long after the msg was sent though? And why can’t someone who has your mobile# always call your mobile? Why does it change?
-
@marcusbryan @jamesrwhite Including that on a short message says you’re not worth my full time or attention to typos. It’s a bad excuse.
-
@subcide Shame on Apple (and other vendors) for including it by default.
-
@sean Change your sig to include a photo of you holding your new phone. Because images in sigs are even better than disclaimers. :-)
-
@luxuryluke I’ve even seen apologies for misspellings/typos in the same signatures because it was sent from their phone.
-
@SamHowat Why would (or should) your customers need to think about how they contact you?
-
@smileyj68 Awesome. See you there, Jonathan.
-
Just because an email gets sent from your phone, that’s no excuse to include that in your signature.
-
@JamesWanless We know how they’re implemented is controversial. They’re loved by some, hated by others.

I’m speaking next week on engagement at the Web App Masters Tour in Seattle. Use code BOWMAN for $200 off. http://j.mp/wamt-sea
-
@mschoening Glad you both stopped by. Enjoy the rest of your time in San Francisco. Maybe we’ll see you again soon.

It’s Friday now. And it’s on.
-
Not sure why I thought this would be easy. It’s Windows.
-
@isaach We still have (and use) ours. Toddler-size now, of course. Loved the way we could rotate the infant seat in any direction.
-
Just witnessed a “bang-up” parallel parking job: two wheels on the curb, notch taken out of a tree, license plate laying on the street.
-
@isaach Looks like you guys are ready. Oh, and you’re gonna love that Orbit.
-
@jeffrey One of the many shockers to welcome your residency in this great state.
-
@danbenjamin Saft lets you do that, although it’s bulky. Sogudi was a light-weight solution, but hasn’t been updated in a long time

@jonohhh Who you callin Nancy bro?

@goldman Funny, because the form factor is by far my *least* favorite feature.

One year ago, today, at about this time, we started seeing tweets stating that Michael Jackson was dead.
-
@cm_stead Thanks for your feedback. I can appreciate your perspective too, even though we decided the other way is better for now.
-
@cm_stead Philosophically, we chose the other side of the fence. Creates a better experience for the majority of users. No plans to change.
-
@cm_stead Keep in mind every time you do that, you’re spamming your followers with out-of-context replies they may not want to see.
-
@andyrutledge I never had any downtime when I was with pair, but they’re expensive for what you get.
-
@gruber Opposite experience in San Francisco as you might expect. Near 50 degrees, foggy, everyone is bundled up like it’s winter.

@ChicFashionWeek Why me? (Relative to everyone else you invited to follow?)

.@BoogsterSU2 A design being old is not a reason to redesign. Nor to rush a redesign. “Good things come to those who wait.”

Fun team dinner tonight with coworkers at Foreign Cinema. Love. My. Job.

Ok, whatever. She “tessellated” the cheese. And there was a “memo” about it. Still, #pigsfly #hellfreezes

Today, I saw a Subway employee alternate the direction of two triangular pieces of cheese on a sandwich. #pigsfly #hellfreezes

OH: “At least I didn’t tweet it.”
