I thought “Words that Zing” would be an interesting read. But she lost me halfway through. Not enough zing. http://j.mp/dxICfR

@ded I was actually offended that you used incorrect punctuation. A period just doesn’t work there.

Could someone invent a temperature-sensing mouse, keyboard, or trackpad that somehow helps measure happiness and delight?

Almost disabled my contact form because of all the spam it drew. Then I discovered ContactForm7. Now: spam=0. http://contactform7.com/

@dlsHealthWorks I understand the link is someone else. But you included my username (@stop) after the RT.
-
@meyerweb Wow, particularly like the 2nd definition. Learned something new today.
-
@dlsHealthWorks What’s this then? http://j.mp/bfOaB8
-
@dlsHealthWorks Did I actually say that? You RT’ed me.

Wired built an app for the iPad using Adobe Air. Maybe they should have asked Apple about Air support first. http://j.mp/cAyqyX

@gb It’s definitely a shake-up to long-time habits. Took a bit of getting used to, and some customization to make it fit my patterns.
-
@rossboardman I tried both, but TextMate never stuck. Possibly too minimal of a UI. Coda seems the perfect balance for me.
-
@kjmatthews Coda has clippings. Not sure how they compare with snippets. Tried TextMate several times, but it never stuck for me.
-
@gb Multiple factors. Want of better code completion. Growing dislike of multiple panes. Simpler experience. Like Panic’s design…
-
@illbehavior Just came across TEA via @CraigGrannell this morning. Also making use of “Wrap With Tag” that’s part of Coda’s Sample Plugins.
-
Poor groundhog. Gets more attention in one day than it does the entire remainder of the year.
-
@CraigGrannell TEA looks helpful. I’ve been filling the void so far with the Wrap With Tag plugin, and hacking my own needs into it.
-
@onassar Thanks for that one. Seems to be a few more resources than what’s on panic.com.
-
Finally made the full switch to @panic‘s Coda a week ago after using BBEdit for 12+ years. Loving it so far.

Welcoming @markdotto to our growing team of designers at Twitter.

@Folletto We’re aware of the bug. We’re working on fixes to all of our buttons to eliminate browser-specific CSS they currently require.
-
@jasonsantamaria I’ve always liked the sound AppZapper makes when zapping an app. That, and the poof from OS X.
-
@tomcoates Not actually watching any tonight. Just awaiting the start of the season. Like if I chant those words, it will come sooner.

Can understand why Apple pushed to gamma 2.2. But would have rather seen them unleash a virus that set all Windows machines to 1.8.
-
Still not sure about this gamma 2.2 default setting in Snow Leopard. Colors seem so dark and over-saturated.

@hapkidogal Huh? What great news?

I’m impressed with Google Voice as a mobile web app for the iPhone. Even its visual design [gasp] isn’t bad. http://j.mp/aw9AEs

@DavidKaneda No snap that I know of. But you can also zoom in a little, hit Cmd-T for free transform, then use the arrow keys to nudge.
-
@anamitra Still equal, IMO. Imagine stripping off the usernames and avatars of every tweet in your Home timeline. You lose all context.
-
@anamitra I’d disagree with most of that, Anamitra. On Twitter, the who provides a lot of context for the what.
