@jmspool “Bungee ironing” – I could get into that.

RT @CamBowman Reminder, @frugalday is giving away a $20 gift card to Williams-Sonoma. Enter now! http://j.mp/c28t2h

And seriously, iPhone. When are you going to get over your size-envy and stop correcting iPad to uPas?
-
Kindle/Mac feels like a product that had no design input and was all eng. That, or it was rushed to beat the iPad.
-
Happy to see Kindle for Mac finally released. But it’s a very 1.0 release. Maybe not even that. Experience isn’t smooth at all.
-
@simplebits Only issue is that you often have to look at it to use it. That, and it’s too easy to accidentally hit something if not locked.
-
RT @kowitz: This is delightful! http://niemann.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/03/10/my-way/

“Hey Doug, I’d sort of like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn.” Sort of?
-
@danbenjamin I didn’t know complimenting the host could lead to in invitation. Perhaps I should reach out to Bono and Chris Martin too? ;-)
-
@Brilliantcrank We batted around the idea when the event was first coming together. But no, we haven’t pulled anything together for it.
-
@PageOneResults Not sure what happened. Either a bug in our character limiter, or some clever hacking. Should only be 160 chars.
-
@danbenjamin Have been enjoying Conversation and Pipeline podcasts. Makes great background listening while working. Thanks for doing them.

“Filmed on location in Oahu, Hawaii with the assistance of Hawaii production tax credits.” I’ll produce in Hawaii for tax credits.
-
@petermdenton Right, because you need to do auth from the app. Otherwise, there’s no token.
-
@alissa File > See revision history doesn’t do enough for you?
-
@MikSF In some clients, you can zoom in to see the convo (i.e. Tweetie/Mac). On the web, you can click the in reply to link/open in new tab.
-
@JeffBallweg We know, and we’re not ignoring it. ;-)
-
Even if he stops replying soon, it’s cool to read @ev‘s answers to questions he’s getting in real-time: http://twitter.com/ev
-
@k Sounds like something I’d really like to see. (no pun intended)
-
@whitehawk Actually, that’s @VL‘s fine work.
-
@mezzoblue @tomh @johnallsopp I love the intent – setting alarms for years into the future to remind about questions, predictions, etc.

Some features of an app are only noticed when they’re missing or broken. More features should be this invisible.

“It’s a rare person who can afford to pre-order a $499 thing sight-unseen.” http://j.mp/atiOSH

@PageOneResults “latency challenges” -very polite way to describe it. ;-)
-
@PageOneResults Because it needs to fetch the user info on hover, if the user doesn’t exist, or if the connection times out, you’ll see that
-
@bs Video. Just for you. Sent: http://j.mp/bkW70j

Walking by the house that burned this morning. A service named BoardUp is still there. Inside is gutted. Structure is still standing. Sad.
-
@rael Clearly, before. The period in your tweet that I’m replying to looks lonely divorced from the thought. #hashtagisjustmetadata
-
@mutgoff Love this photo – I can almost see the happy tension in your arm about to jerk the hammer back… http://bit.ly/cNx0mc
-
@FabuLanzaa You should be able to confirm your details and options, then hit OK. Otherwise, it will keep popping back up.
-
@EmmaEwers That’s coming in a future version. We kept it simple for the first rev.
-
@PageOneResults Glad to have folks like you noticing. We have much more to do…

@jmspool I’m thinking the house needs a Twitter account.
-
@sprsquish Not sure where he lives, but this is probably a different fire, since it wasn’t there when I just got on the bus right in front.
-
My wife just called to inform me that a house across the street from hours is fully engulfed in flames. Hope everyone got out ok.
-
@jeffrey Negative on Austin. But maybe a drink before Coco, if not before then…
-
@flyosity Same sentiment. It’s like a large closed circle of friends and trusted designers.
-
RT @flyosity: I secretly hope Dribbble never goes public, it’s such a great place to post semi-sensitive designs & get great feedback.
-
@jeffrey Same. Looking forward to seeing him.
-
@monkchips The design or label? Label was changed because these are no longer just status updates. Design to match other buttons on site.
-
@monstro Current implementation works for me though. Old way: seeing a person I follow doesn’t introduce me to anyone, it’s just a mention.
-
@mezzoblue With enough cash, you might be able to find one at Google’s SF office, slightly used.
-
@levifig We don’t change the background, but we do slightly darken the border between new and old tweets. Perhaps a bg fade could help too.
-
I’m starting to follow folks who get retweeted to me several times. RTs are (intentionally) working as a discovery tool for me.
