@tapbot_paul 73? Do we still provide that size? I thought we corrected it to a more standard 72 a long time ago?
-
@AlIzzo Getting verified: probably because it’s still a mostly manual process. Talking about it: don’t know.
-
@jbrewer @danielbruce_ Probably not, since it’s a trademarked logo. While we want it known far and wide, a lot of instances aren’t approved.

@mko There’s a joke in there somewhere about “when pigs fly”…

@rsarver @kevinrose It’s not April 1st yet, is it?

@ripetungi @tgraydar Curation actually has huge value if it doesn’t completely cannibalize creation (which I don’t think will happen).

@MaraaAngeliquee All this name calling, and we’ve never even met!

@gangrey I may be able to get you some gas, but I can’t deliver to FL. cc @deftlyinane

@MarsiasMarsias I’m still not understanding what you’re asking. What is your question?

RT @waxpancake: Furious at Yahoo for weaponizing the creative work of hundreds, including me. My thoughts on their Facebook lawsuit: htt …

@MarsiasMarsias You lost us. What is the Answering option?
-
@kevinmarks @benward Curious what the pronouns would be when his or her isn’t appropriate? Seems easy to fall back on they / their.
-
@benward Interesting, since I assume the only reason this is asked at the beginning is to get the singular possesive pronouns correct.
-
@mkruzeniski Beware, that will last for another 18 years.
-
@technicalfault @prmr What do you think we’re not understanding? I’m all ears.
-
@LEANDROFGJ It would be a bug if that’s the case. You should always be able to see all of them – unless you’ve previously blocked accounts.
-
@splorp I think it’s because hashtags typically must start with a letter, and may only contain letters, numbers, and underscores.

@smcbride It’s crazy that work never saw the light of day, in really any form, other than some riffs of it on Ads products.
-
@bdc Package up a server version, price it according to number of clients needed? Maybe recurring revenue on yearly plans for upgrades?
-
I really wish there was something similar to @kickoffapp or @Wunderkit that ran internally (our servers, inside the firewall). Anyone?
-
According to @TwBirthday, today marks 5yrs on Twitter for me. It’s going to be a busy weekend for that account, given SXSW’07 was 5yrs ago.
-
@StuRobson That’s supposed to be the case. A recent code regression is displaying them for some reason.
-
@AlanHogan How do you define them that way? Tripple tapping for me selects the text of the entire tweet.
-
@aarron There are ideas and possible solutions to fix the DM/SMS thing, but they’re complicated, and involve more parties than just Tw.
-
@courtneybolton To verify they worked, you should be able to hit block again, and verify a check appears beside the account you blocked from
-
@courtneybolton And does crash happen immediately after tapping block button? Or after the list of your accounts comes up?
-
@courtneybolton BTW, is this happening in the latest update? (one that I think just went out this week)
-
@courtneybolton Thanks, Courtney. I’ll pass that on to the mobile team. Sorry about the crashers.

I don’t understand Apple’s strategy for choosing default wallpapers on iOS devices. They never seem to enhance the product, nor the icons.

@tomkrazit @parislemon A year ahead of you – it’s called Twitter for Mac.

Dictation on iPad should bring a whole new realm of iOS auto-corrected funnies.

Imagine everyone’s surprise if Apple were to announce the iPad 2S this week…
-
@Ed Problem is, they need to be following you too in order to have seen it. I doubt anyone is monitoring @webclient‘s mentions.
-
@Ed No worries. You effectively narrowed the fan out of that tweet to some of the folks who could actually do something about it.
-
@Ed Wow, where’d you dig up that account? It’s followers are all indicative of a slice of time 1.5-2 years back.
-
@dan_spix I’m curious about your own username. Do your friends refer to you as Dan Underscore Spix? Why the underscore?
-
@dan_spix Nothing broken about them. We still show both wherever we can. But we use the more human form wherever only one can fit.
-
@dan_spix And of course, usernames are still important as a means of finding and addressing people. That’s why we display both.
-
@dan_spix It’s rare that a network grows beyond 100M users. Think about email – how many of your friends are known by their email address?
-
@dan_spix Yes, but you’re now in a minority of users. A growing majority now have usernames that they don’t recognize, nor represent them.
