@dan_spix Why do they not matter to you anymore?
-
@tomcoates Check out some of the replies on your original tweet, see how that works. Won’t show all, but will give you the gist of convo.
-
@tomcoates True – and as I implied, we still have lots of work to do on conversations this year. Possibly the biggest issue to tackle.
-
@tomcoates Just tap that tweet, replies show up on the permalink now. We’ll address deeper conversation issues this year.
-
@dbedingfield What do you have against @Zhanna and her Mini?
-
@Zhanna Drat – I was hoping to see @Trenti, @dbedingfield, and @mdo.
-
OH: “Hi, I’m George.” “Trammell.” “Tremor?” Me: “No, but it should be!”
-
RT @leeclowsbeard: For every inaction there is an unforeseen and often unwelcome reaction.
-
@nancybroden Would love to see the text-free assembly instructions for one of those projects.
-
@twotribes I’m not even sure most employees understand the fan out rules anymore, and what’s a bug vs what’s intentional.
-
@jimmynordlund I’ll try – I’d like @readability integration too. cc @sunghu @bhaggs @dbedingfield
-
@nickweisser You can still use bit.ly with any client manually – but I believe Twitter has removed all support for 3rd party shorteners.
-
@nickweisser Automatic link shortening is baked into all Twitter clients now. Note the char count when you paste in long URLs.
-
@codepo8 True, but only if I weren’t already a parent to begin with.
-
Somehow, I just justified spending $300 on a baby monitor that broadcasts to (and is controllable by) my phone. #geek withings.com/en/babymonitor
-
@dbedingfield Oh, so you’re about to go on a draft-posting binge? Lemme grab some popcorn.
-
@gt Tried it on the iPhone, and type is definitely nicer & crisper. I’m so looking forward to the breathing room on a new iPad though.
-
@dbedingfield Are you drinking again?
-
@gt I’m already salivating at the thought of @readability on a retina display iPad.
-
Experiencing the brand spanking new @readability on the iPad. You should too. (Also on iPhone.)
-
@troyevillelolly @billybragg In all cases, if the tweet isn’t cool, there’s a ‘dismiss’ action that sends negative signal back to Twitter.
-
@troyevillelolly @billybragg A blog post announced mobile integration of promoted tweets yesterday: blog.twitter.com/2012/02/promot…
-
Nearly three years in, and I still love the fact that when I have Twitter up on my screen, I’m working.
-
@joshhemsley No, @hah-ha!
-
@joshhemsley Case in point: twitter.com/#!/stop/status…
-
@joshhemsley Yeah, every now and then, they elicit a response fro me.
-
@twotribes Not a bug, it’s a feature. ;)
-
Apparently, a lot of people are hatin’ on Miley Cyrus today, because I’m gettin’ told repeatedly to @stop it.
-
@ovaice Very few know why they want minimalism nor what it means and requires.
-
@jeffrey @design Sorry, Jeffrey. That should be fixed soon. Hang in there a bit longer.
-
@didierh @jbrewer @Trenti I’ve noticed that too (that I often need to back up to capitalize instead of just typing). Hrm. #littlethings
-
@captcarl13 Could just be service/connection issues. Restart it, and see if it comes back?
-
@kaleemux @Trenti @saleemkhan Each URL you paste in should subtract 20 characters from the count. Is that not the case?
-
@kaleemux @Trenti @saleemkhan Not as far as I can tell yet. What client are you using where you see the unwrapped link going against count?
-
@kaleemux All links now get passed through Twitter’s shortener. See http://t.co/8uDaROfx for more. cc @Trenti @saleemkhan
-
How did we miss that the @BaconBaconSF truck was only two blocks from Twitter HQ today? The promise of geolocation fails us.
-
@gabhubert You’re welcome – hope it was valuable. Also, I’ll pass on your Bootstrap gratitude to @mdo and @fat.

@Yarcom Bummer. You also missed the Design team outing to said exhibit by six months.

“We must recover our sanity where 100 million users does not represent the goal criteria of every new service.” the-pastry-box-project.net/ben-ward/2012-…
-
@cdemetriadis Yes, sounds more like a connection or service issue that was [hopefully] temporary.
-
@cdemetriadis We haven’t seen that yet. Are you updated to the latest version (4.1)?
