@nunomaia Agreed. We have much more work to do on conversations in general. Don’t expect that this is the end.
-
@nunomaia Kinda, yes. Also, it’s just natural order for reading conversations. Apple does this with SMS, we also do it with DMs.
-
@nunomaia That’s also why we “break” the timeline once you expand. It’s like a mini-window into the convo.
-
@nunomaia Exactly. And that’s what I’m noting is intentional. If it were reversed, reading the conversation gets really difficult.
-
@nunomaia Do you read conversations backwards regularly? No one does. That’s the logic.
-
@nunomaia Call us amateur if you want – this is how people read conversations, and it was a very intentional decision.

I’ve been sick with the flu for the past few days. Finally felt better today, so on this third day, I decided to rise from the bed.
-
@mslizzyrae Open Maps, search for “1 infinite loop, cupertino”. Compare result with the Maps icon.
-
@DrummerHead proof that it took me this long to realize? ;-)
-
It’s like every tap of the Maps icon is a subliminal quest to get to Apple.
-
@connors I know. I never even paid attention to that detail. That’s what revealed it for me.
-
@_NickCaron Wait, what?! ;-)
-
Just now realized that the iOS Maps icon is an abstraction of the address for Apple HQ.
-
@elizabeth Congrats – quite an accomplishment.
-
@VeritaMag How is this via me? I’ve never tweeted nor shared anything related to this.
-
@omid I shudder to think what that would mean in some cases.
-
@AndrewCrow That system is still not behaving appropriately. Users should *never* see t.co, except maybe over SMS.

-
@shaneadams Good man. Alert AND on Twitter.
-
@gundotio Wait, there’s a DM button?!
-
@shaneadams Shouldn’t be any text changes. But there are some basic tweet anatomy changes underway. Perhaps that’s what you’re seeing?
-
@tabatkins @StuRobson Cross-client syncing is something T never offered (bizarre, I know) but it’s high on the roadmap now.
-
@Trenti Make yourself at home. Just don’t get too comfortable. ;-)
-
@jeffrey Intentionally left vague. Especially if/when Instagram goes down.
-
Three years at Twitter as of today. Still love my job. #milestone @jointheflock
-
@jasonsantamaria Unfortunately, that’s becoming a thing here (the iPhone snatching, not the wrestling). Glad they didn’t succeed with you.
-
@jodiolson Thanks, Jodi. In some ways, we can’t believe it’s already been a week; in others, it’s been the longest week of our lives!
-
@courtneybolton Posted to Twitter’s photo service? Or another, like twitpic or yfrog? If another, that service may have gone down.
-
@mommasoll Congrats to you and @kyle!
-
@rcarver Very cute kid.
-
@danielhurley 1,000 times, yes.
-
@tragictech In other words, Skype just feels like video chat. Sure, that’s cool. But FT transcends that to something more magical.
-
@tragictech Skype feels like it takes work to make happen. FaceTime feels more accessible, and easier to initiate.
-
@markboulton Amazing. Gets me teary-eyed just thinking about that.
-
The commercials for FaceTime couldn’t even do it justice. The emotional connections it enables at key life moments are magical.
-
Feeling a little guilty watching my wife in her backless gown walk back and forth to the hospital restroom while I recite lyrics from LMFAO.
-
@bhaggs @dbedingfield For some reason, I was expecting this to be about a text editor mashup.

@DODOsays Any chance you’d consider expanding the personalization character set to include the ‘#’? Hashtags would be awesome.
-
@GeoffBrown It’s about time!

Witnessed a mugging as we drove down Fifth today. Guy took off on foot thru Mint Plaza, and was wicked fast. Waiter didn’t stand a chance.
-
@williamtm @ticky @sandofsky Actually, you can just note your bug here. And yes, if we can verify it, we will eventually try to fix it.
-
@jeffcortez Actually, responsive is certainly fluid, but fluid does not equal responsive, imo.
-
Not sure that the web was always responsive – cf. jordanm.co.uk/post/194444748… – It was fluid, but responsive goes beyond fluid, no?
-
@AlanHogan Thanks for the sugg. Until then, right click in the form, and you should get 1P’s controls there too.
-
@trammell Unless more parents start naming their kids Pixel.

I remember walking into the New Mission theater a few years ago, and hoping someone would restore it. Now happening: drafthouse.com/blog/entry/an_…
-
@sfahmy @tapbot_paul Even more reason not use it, IMO ;-)
-
@tapbot_paul Might still be 73. I remember arriving at T, learning about the 73 size, & no one had a good reason why it wasn’t 72, or 64…
