@jkalucki It’s called motion design. All the cool kids are doing it these days.
-
@jkalucki iPhone app seems to be doing the same thing, if the diagonal slide-in motion is what you’re referring to.

Ever since we started reading Mercy Watson with our girls, my cravings for buttered toast have increased dramatically.
-
@RobHayward @memobottle Why couldn’t you? Same way you clean any other narrow-mouth bottle – with a brush.
-
You’ll like the idea of @memobottle if you travel light with a thin bag. They’re taking pre-orders if you missed out on their Kickstarter.
-
@jessicahische @dburka I got hit twice on mine, once on the freeway. When our second kid came, my wife made me sell the Vespa. :-(

@stop @mattdonovan @CamBowman Outside of finding a good map app, the printed maps you get from the front gates seem the easiest to use.
-
@stop @mattdonovan @CamBowman The only app we’ve used consistently is the Lines app from Touring Plans. Wait times and crowd levels.
-
@mattdonovan @CamBowman Hmm – something we’re not very knowledgeable about, because we know the park layouts so well…
-
@benward Sigh that we’ve already been awake for 2 hours because the kids still haven’t adjusted to the time change.
-
Very much looking forward to this expansion of Monument Valley. wired.com/2014/11/monume…

@PatxisPizza The pizzas were delivered another hour later, but one of them wasn’t even the pizza we had ordered. :-(
-
@PatxisPizza Adding insult to injury, we got a $110 parking ticket that we wouldn’t have gotten had the pizzas been there for us.
-
@stop @newbalance Sorry – the tweet I was replying to didn’t link up. Here’s @CamBowman’s tweet: twitter.com/cambowman/stat…
-
@stop Also, @Iconfactory was great to work with, and @jeremyreiss did an outstanding job managing and art directing the entire emoji project.
-
Kind of a big deal that @design is open-sourcing Twitter’s entire emoji set that @Iconfactory helped create. blog.twitter.com/2014/open-sour…

@TylerGalpin Yep – replaced with this twitter.com/pmarca/status/…
-
@TyHCoop @TheTakeApp Would be very interesting to try, sure. Also interested in something that could eventually do this for TV shows too.

made me think of this: twitter.com/netik/status/4… cc @netik

@Moore Sounds like something to pump and dump.
-
@iainkennedy Getting the show is one thing. Accessing any product placed on the set that shows up in any frame is another.
-
@bradenfloris Right? Though the pessimist in me fears how it would affect scriptwriting quality.
-
@plasticmind Yeah – similar to Houzz, but for video. And no annoying overlays that pop up on the TV, please.
-
@hondanhon The cynical side of me sees huge product placement revenue potential for the tech that gets it right.
-
@stop Or using the phone’s camera and mic to detect precise frame location, and match it to a tagged product placement database.
-
@stop Could be through matching an image to a large visual index, like something Google would do…
-
Product idea: Shazam for identifying items on a home TV screen during a show or movie, and where they can be bought. Exist already?
-
@gruber @exkclamation The elevation fits the 6 perfectly with room to spare if no case. With a case, a little tight, but still fits.
-
@smarty Not sure I’d call that a good watch anyway. More like a distraction strapped to the wrist.
-
@stop Good luck to the hunter. Bad luck to the hunted.
-
@netspencer @danrubin Did either of you look at the backs? Looked American enough to me. I think we associate bad design with American.
-
Apparently, these bring you luck. The more you know… http://t.co/eTqSY9lFcR

@SelenasWays @BillPostersdj Just make sure you don’t come to Sydney mate.
-
@bradezone Did you see the other sides?

@Stammy @design @mikeindustries Why didn’t @mkruz dress up?
-
@yarcom Claim it. Protect it. That’s Yaron candy.
-
@dbedingfield @pony Frightening, on multiple levels. Excellent makeup job. Keep it on for work on Monday.
-
@ronsman @webdirections @jnymck Very well-written summary, and outstanding takeaways. I’m honored to have been a part of it.
-
@rsarver Awesome experience. Perhaps only bested by hearing your kid’s uncontrollable giggling and laughing.
