@smileyj68 The lack of the RT dogear as confirmation is a bug, and should be fixed soon.
-
@ozlubling Cool Font size option should be coming soon. Hang in there.
-
@kyle Not sure about that one. Maybe ability to double-click for copy/paste? Except that doesn’t work with replies.
-
@joshuarudd User streams makes it crazy how quickly you see replies now, huh?
-
@joshuarudd Same here. “sent in error”
-
@pastortroy Not yet, though it’s something many people have requested, and has been kicked around as an idea a few times.
-
@bencallahan You don’t have a choice, unless you omit the http. It’s for user protection from phishing, etc.
-
@jimramsey If so, it would likely need to be written by @lorenb. I just provided slight input along the way.
-
@RHurv Hmm – doesn’t quite look like this one worked correctly…
-
@pl Think of the left (black) column as the title bar – you can click anywhere in that to drag the app.
-
@BoltClock You can still use other shorteners outside the app (for stats etc), but everything will still go through Twitter’s shortener.
-
@patdryburgh Right, but with the menu item gone, people are wondering how you do it now.
-
@pvanb You can still use your own shortener outside the app. Otherwise, it uses Twitter’s.
-
@nicolaspy Not sure when. We’re working on it.
-
@cliffcheney Sorry, won’t ever happen. Tweets need to degrade down to SMS.
-
In Twitter/Mac, you can drag&drop images into the tweet box. Also, URL shortening is now automatic – check the character counter.
-
@JosephDPayne Ah, that jagged gray is not to indicate old vs new. It’s a gap that indicates missing tweets. Click on it to load them.
-
@JosephDPayne What does old/new mean with user streams? Also, I don’t remember seeing any diff in iphone/ipad clients.
-
@blurb The right arrow on your keyboard will invoke the same action as a triple swipe. Also, double-click for convos.
-
@davidcorrell Nope. Just changed to Cmd-Shift-] and Cmd-Shift-[
-
@blurb Triple-swipe this tweet!
-
@pdame As soon as you’re scrolled anywhere but the top, it should maintain scroll position, even with new tweets.
-
@blurb I hear it all goes to hell after that.
-
@ModernPainter General tab in prefs, 3rd checkbox.
-
@stegrainer Look down at the very bottom on the profile view. Possibly bad placement that needs to be improved.
-
@gustafengstrom @seth_weisfeld Less? Of course, I disagree. Minimalism is beauty to me.
-
@Darshana_V Do an Apple software update, which will give you the Mac App Store. Available there.
-
@waynedahlberg Loren is trying something new here – you can drag anywhere from the left black bar, which is the new title bar.
-
@cheeriogrrrl If you already have Twitter installed and running, “Preferences” is available under the Twitter menu beside the Apple icon.
-
@jasonp Bummer. Have heard connections in LV right now are all super slow.
-
@jasonp I don’t think so, at least not now. But both are free.
-
@daniel Apparently, a known issue about the MAS. Apparently logging out or restarting & trying again fixes the issue.
-
Twitter/Mac tip: if you like tweets to drop into view automatically like I do, check the Auto scroll to top option in prefs.
-
@joshuarudd But still, a small marker of where I should scroll down to would also be helpful for folks like me.
-
@joshuarudd I know many people would love that too. I’m one that would rather always start from the top.
-
@ThisIsDannyZ @ivane That’s coming soon.
-
@tomcoates URL shortening is automatic now. Paste in a long URL, and note the char count. /cc @rsarver
-
Twitter for Mac (aka Tweetie2) is finally here, and it’s free. Make it your first download from the new Mac App Store.
-
@pixelmatrix sarcasm?
-
@aanttila Happens automatically. Paste in a long URL, notice the character count.
-
@Zhanna No need for cover or backtracking now.
-
@eportelance That’s what I wonder – if the Siren is really what people recognize about the logo on signs and cups.

Note the Starbucks growth stats in those two banners. In 1992: 164 stores, 2 countries. In 2011: 16,000+ stores, 55 countries.
