@Marchdoe @simplebits Same. I have never taken border-radius for granted!
-
@thereisnocat @luxuryluke Thank you!
-
@Alfred_Loo yep – shipments can only go to US addresses for some reason, sorry. 😢
-
Emma looked up Girl Scout Cookie sales to see where orders from her had shipped so far, then colored in this map to show the states that had orders. Anyone else in other states need GS cookies? Help her fill in the map! 🍪🍪🍪 digitalcookie.girlscouts.org/scout/emma2985…

This video was impressive in the first few seconds, let alone that it lasted about 10x longer than it needed to. Imagining the time difference between successfully pulling off this flight in one take, vs creating all or parts of it in CGI. twitter.com/nytimes/status…

@gruber No irony at all that these rumor sites document the deeds of a source they likely benefited from, even if not directly.
-
@gt @mikeindustries @garazi @beep One or two replies to @beep’s original tweet suggest using hair spaces or half spaces on either side. Similar thinking. Just not easily typed or uniformly supported.
-
@cameronmoll Fun. Will wait for you to report back that one kid plunked the
inside a
just to see how good your poker face was.
-
@luxuryluke @beep Totally. I always feel like I’m cheating or being uppity when I think of using a semi-colon. The Germans have it figured out: justjameverythingintooneword and forget about spaces and punctuation.
-
@beep I cringe when I see em dashes without spaces around them. I know someone taught me otherwise. But the em dash deserves to breathe, like the pause it commands.

@panzer @flyosity @mikeindustries What if an exchange or payment provider could calculate est. tax for each fiat-resulting transaction and withhold it automatically as a fee? In exchange for opting into this, you’d receive a verification cert at the end of the year exempting you from paying add’l crypto taxes.
-
@flyosity @mikeindustries Wouldn’t this make crypto Visa cards a really bad idea? An additional taxable event every single spend that causes a conversion?
-
@markjardine Both are so good to watch. I’ve done them in this order several times. Can’t escape the energy. So wish I could have experienced that live.
-
@mathowie First piece of music I owned was also a 45. REO’s Take it on the Run, handed to me as a promo as we were leaving Kings Island. For years after that, I swore the first verse ended with “And even if it is, keep piss in my eye.”
-
@mulegirl @simplebits In other words, get a room?
-
@simplebits OMG, I think you might have just pinpointed the correlation for me. Central Ohio mid-summer, Karen blasting from an 8-track, stuck in the back of an ‘81 Ford Bronco, focusing on the cracked vinyl seats in front of me that I couldn’t see over, gasping for air, trying not to hurl.
-
@simplebits Love Hall & Oates. And lots of other artists and songs I associate with similar years. It’s literally just Karen’s voice alone.
-
@simplebits I could not. Something about Karen’s voice and associations from my childhood combine to be like nails on a chalkboard for me. I have to drop everything and leave a store if one of her songs starts playing around Christmas. A psych could spend hours with me on this alone.
-
@markboulton Serendipitous tweet juxtaposition.

@kerem Natural Intelligence Email Filtering™
-
@luxuryluke Hoo, those took a while. Glad you got them this year!
-
@shaneadams I just like that @Starbucks can now write OMG on your cup (or print on the sticker) instead of Shane.
-
Forever daft and punk. Thanks for the journey.
-
@luxuryluke Noyce! Sandy is a beaut too! Good work on getting all this out there.
-
@DannPetty Hang in there, Dann. We all appreciate you.
-
@elliotjaystocks @dizzyup Gorgeous. I remember having a particular affinity for the Mac wallpapers from that era. Thanks for pointing to these.
-
@hotdogsladies Johnny Bench was my childhood hero.
-
Big goals in a difficult year. Buy Girl some Scout Cookies if you can! getcookies.org twitter.com/CamBowman/stat…
-
@chsweb “Hmm.” Takes a longer story to explain that a few folks have heard already, but it’s a good one. So I should recount it someday.
-
@chsweb @cameronmoll @danmall Good thinking. And nice work stitching it together too! I saw someone driving around with magnetic signs and QR codes attached to their car – everyone must get creative this year.
-
RT @mkruz: This is amazing
-
Thanks everyone. Now I’m really craving diner food.
-
@brian Woot! Thanks, Brian! Enjoy those. Save a few to crush up and add to ice cream!
-
I have a thing about pencils. Went shopping last week. Today, received a whole kit of genuine & useful things from the @simplebits shop. 👍
-
@tjefford Nice. Sometimes just fitting it into a routine feels like the hardest part.
-
@luxuryluke Thanks so much, Luke. Enjoy the cookies!
-
@bruce Awesome. Thank you Bruce! Don’t miss out on that idea of an ice cream topper (if you partake).

We’ve been plowing through these tonight while watching reruns of old reality tv shows. You could be too. GetCookies.org 🍪😉
-
@cdharrison @rogie @miekd I was legit afraid to hit my first dose straight. So I added a few drops to some sauce on our pasta tonight. Whoo doggie! Good flavor with the pineapple. Lasting burn.
-
If you’re looking for a not overly technical explanation of what’s been happening with GameStop, Josh does a really good job with the backstory of how we got here. twitter.com/endtwist/statu…
-
@simplebits Thanks, Dan! Enjoy all the Cookie Bits.
-
@nurihodges A UK friend noted the same thing. However, I had to use a few tricks to stop my blocker from hiding parts of the page as it was. Blockers and cookies apparently don’t mix very well.

@EnswellJones If you did it a couple days ago, then absolutely, yes. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
